Leadership High School: Applications are now being
accepted to be a part of Leadership High School for this school year. There
will be monthly field trips to different businesses and agencies in Shasta
County. Pick up a brochure and application in the counseling office.
Service
Learning
Do you want
to reach out to others, give back, and make a difference? Do you have a
few hours to mentor and make connections in our community? If so then
join our service learning team. See Mr. Osborn in room 127 for important
information and permission forms.
Fantasy
Football Anyone?
We are
playing weekly fantasy football this year; pick up your roster card and scoring
information from Mr. Osborn in room 127. This is weekly fantasy football
so you can join in at any time. There are prizes for weekly
winners. Don’t delay, the season starts Thursday, November 8th.
Freshmen and Sophomores: Do you want to have a say in
what goes on at AUHS? Come by for an informational meeting about Class
Officers in the Leadership Room Thursday during the first 15 minutes of
Lunch. Class Officer Applications will be handed out, and election
procedures will be discussed.
Boys Basketball: All boys’ basketball players not
participating in a fall sport, there will be a basketball meeting today in the
cafeteria during lunch.
Do you enjoy
arguing? Debate? Acting? Public Speaking? Do you have any interest in the legal
system? You could be a part of Anderson’s Mock Trial team. Join us at lunch in
room 321 on Friday, Sept 9th to get more information. See you there.
Back to School Night is tonight. BBQ with FFA starts
at 5:30, Parent meeting in the PAC starts at 6:15.
