  FROM THE DEN – DAILY BULLETIN

ALL STUDENTS: This is our first spirit week of the school year! This year's theme is Binge Week. Join us in participating in dressing up like our favorite T.V. shows that have been trending this year.

 

·         Today, Hogwarts is taking over Anderson for Harry Potter Day. Each class will be assigned a color to wear that is based on the Hogwart’s houses. Freshman is Slytherin with Green as their color, Sophomores are Hufflepuff with Yellow or Gold, Juniors are Gryffindor with red, and finally, Seniors are Ravenclaw with blue. Represent your house well with showing who the best class is!

·         Tomorrow, break out your Blue Crew gear and your extreme blue and gold for All American Day. 

 

Spirit Day Friday: At lunch, Leadership will be holding a lunch competition with three separate games and three separate winners that will be awarded $20 gift cards to Dutch Bros. Imagine you show up to school in an EXTREME blue and gold outfit. If you are selected from a team of leadership students for having EXTREME attire, you will get the chance to compete in three different simple competitions against nine other people. For each competition, the winner will receive a $20 gift card. If you're not afraid, show up on Friday, in Extreme blue and gold, make your way to the quad at the start of lunch, and compete for prizes.     

Athletes:  Who is ready for some sports to start?  Practices will start next week, so please see Ms. Murphy in the Student Store to get your athletic packet.  All athletic packets will need to be turned in before you are able to get a gold card for practice.  Freshman if you are not sure what this means come see Ms Murphy and she will explain the process to you.  Don’t wait get your paperwork today.

JV FOOTBALL: Attention all Freshman and Sophomores that are interested in playing football this year. There will be a quick informational meeting in the small gym at the beginning of lunch this Friday. Please contact Coach White if you have any questions. Hope to see you there.

Upward Bound offers free college preparation services, academic support, cash stipends for achieving good grades and travel to fun destinations! All Students: College Quest is an annual College Fair for all high school students in the North State area. This year the event is being held virtually TONIGHT, Tuesday September 22^nd at 5pm. Upward Bound will be hosting in-person event in the AHS library. Come hang out and eat pizza with us as we explore over 100 different universities in California and across the U.S. If interested in attending please sign up in the Go Center!
