Lady Cubs: There will be a field trip on May 5^th for Shasta College’s “Non-Traditional Employment for Women” Event. There will be information on high paying careers that are looking to hire women. There will also be food and prizes.  Pick up an information packet in the counseling office, and return your field trip permission slip and activity release form to Mr. Jones to reserve your spot ASAP.

Prom:  Prom Tickets are on sale now through Friday, May 19th in the student store, before school, at lunch, or after school until 3:00. Ticket prices are $30 single, $50 couple. Prom is on May 20^th at the Stirring.

Staff/Students: It's time for the AUHS/WVHS Annual Old West Dinner Show. There will be a staff and student discount night on Wed., May 10th.  Tickets are only $15 for that night only and include a tri-tip dinner, great music, fun dancing, and a hilarious western melodrama.  Please see your performing arts teacher or Mrs. Hughes for a seat reservation.  The show will be performed at the Anderson Church of Christ.  Seating starts at 5:30 p.m. and the show at 6:00 p.m.  Hope to see y'all there!

Attention CSF Members: We will be meeting Tuesday and Wednesday during RTI in room 310. This is a MUST ATTEND meeting for all members who missed the meeting prior to spring break. Seniors must bring a report on their 4^th quarter progress check to finalize CSF paperwork. 

Students: Please join us for the Crashed Car Event during lunch on Wednesday, May 3rd; prize wheel, fatal vision goggle games, Casey’s Pledge.

Class of 2017 Senior T-Shirts and sweatshirts will be available to order starting May 2^{nd :} All orders need to be returned by May 10^th .  The order form will be handed out to students in their Social Science Class on TUESDAT or can be picked up in room 215.

Juniors and Seniors: Student Bills have been mailed out.  All of your fees need to be paid before you are able to purchase your Prom tickets.  Prom is only a month away so don’t delay, get your fees paid.

You will also be casting your vote for the FRONT of the shirt and order your shirt at the same time.  All signatures need to be complete before the end of the day, 2:33 PM on FRIDAY, April 28th.

Juniors:  If you didn’t finish your English Language Arts SBAC exams yesterday, please go to the library after first period today. Everyone will be finishing in the library during 2^nd and 3^rd periods. If you don’t finish today, we will be holding make-up exams next week. Please see Mr. Mason if you have any questions.  

Prom: The Class of 2018 presents this year’s prom The Enchanted Forest on Saturday, May 20^th at the Stirring.

Prom Tickets will go on Sale today and will be on sale through Friday, May 19th in the student store before school, at lunch, or after school until 3:00. Ticket prices are $30 single, $50 couple.

Attention Seniors:  The sales person for National Recognition Products will be on our campus at lunch time in the Cafeteria TODAY and he will be bringing some of the orders that have arrived such as announcements, sweatshirts, and caps/gowns so please stop by to see if your order has come in.  The orders that were placed early will be the ones that he will have to deliver.  He will also take late orders for graduation items such as caps/gowns and class rings.  Graduation is now only a month away so your order needs to be placed now.  If you have not yet ordered and need a catalog or information, please stop by and ask him any questions you might have before placing your order or use the opportunity to hand in your order to him. 

Attention ROP students: This week only, MORNING ROP Juniors will miss ROP Monday-Wednesday due to SBAC testing. Morning ROP Juniors you need to check in with Dani Pavone in the Go Center as soon as you finish testing. AFTERNOON ROP Juniors and ALL Seniors will NOT be affected by the testing schedule and should attend ROP as usual. If you have any questions, see Dani.

Congratulations to the Anderson High Concert Band for taking first place in their division at the Music in the Parks Festival held at Milpitas High School on Saturday! Great job Cubs!

Juniors: You will be taking the California English Language Arts test Today. Your room assignments are posted next to the RTI lists. The test will be conducted during 2^nd and 3^rd period each day. Please proceed to your assigned room after first period and remember your earbuds or headphones. If you have any questions, see your English teacher or Mr. Mason for clarification. Good luck and remember the incentives for performing well on the exam.
