Cheer Try-Outs: Basketball cheer try-outs will be held Monday November 13th thru Wednesday November 15th from 4:30 to 5:30.  On Monday the 13th there will be a mandatory parent meeting at 4 to discuss pricing.  If you have any questions please call Dusty at 941-2987  

Boys Basketball:  Anyone interested in playing basketball this year, we will have sign ups in the library on Wednesday, November 1st during lunch.

Attention Students: The Redding West Rotary has selected Joey Doolittle as the November 2017 Student of the Month for ROP.  Joey, we are so proud to have you represent ROP, CONGRATULATIONS!

Seniors:  Mrs. Esparza and Mr. Martin will be in the Go Center during lunch on Nov., 2, Nov. 9, and Nov. 30 to help you fill out your college applications.  Please stop in on the mentioned dates for one-on-one assistance.  Remember, CSU and UC applications are due November 30th. Don't wait until the last minute! 

Attention Morning ROP Students: Due to Today’s Assembly, Morning ROP students will NOT be attending ROP. However, you MUST check-in with Dani in the Go Center during 3-4 period. Failure to check-in will result in disciplinary action! Please come prepared with something academic to work on during this time. Please see me if you have any questions.

Attention Afternoon ROP Students: Although we will be on an Assembly schedule, Afternoon ROP students WILL be attending ROP Today. Your lunch will be a lot shorter, so please be sure to use your lunch passes to go to the front of the line. The bus will arrive at its regularly scheduled time, so as soon as you are finished eating immediately go out the bus! Please see me if you have any questions.


Students: Academic Celebration Assembly is today.  Due to AUHS’s amazing academic success we will be giving away and raffling off over $1,600.00 in awards and prizes to our students.  These prizes include ASB stickers, Dutch Bro Gift Cards, Pizzas, Prom Tickets, Gasoline Cards and a Large Flat Screen TV.  You must be present to win…so don’t be absent on Wednesday the 1st!  Please see the following schedule:

Students: hoods are not allowed to be worn on your head at any time on campus except when it’s raining or its cold enough to see your breath in front of you. Hoods are prohibited at all times in the classroom, gym and cafeteria. If you fail to follow this directive, disciplinary action will be taken against you according to the school handbook.   

Girls Basketball:  Tonight, October 31st from 3-5 p.m. in the Small Gym.  You must have a Gold Card to participate.  Any Question? Please see Ms. Maslin in the Library.

Attention all students: Leadership is looking for 16 people from each class to participate in the upcoming Anderson VS. West Valley Spirit Rally. If you are interested, please attend the lunch meeting in the leadership room on Wednesday, October 25th to learn how to play the games ahead of time and pick up an activity release for your sixth period class the day of the rally. Bring your Friends! For more information, see Mr. Long.

Seniors: On Wednesday October 25th at 6:00 pm we will have our Cash 4 College Night in the AUHS Library. Come to the event with a parent and you will be able to apply for the FAFSA with the help of financial aid specialists. Applying for you FSA ID before the event will speed the process up. Students, don’t forget to have your parents apply for their FSA ID at www.fsaid.ed.gov .”

CSF Meeting:  Attention CSF members, we are having our Fall CSF paperwork meeting Today, Wednesday, October 25th in Room 310 during RTI. We will also be discussing some basic needs for the CSF months of October and November. If you’ve missed meetings in the past, show up today!

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE GIRLS GOLF TEAM FOR WINNING THE LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP ON MONDAY.  GABBY ROSALES EARNED THE M.V.P. AWARD and JOEY DOOLITTLE AND ALEXIS FABELA WERE 3rd and 6th and EARNED ALL-LEAGUE HONORS AS WELL.  WISH THEM LUCK AS THEY COMPETE IN THE SECTION FINALS NEXT MONDAY.
