Girls basketball: tryout for all grades start tonight in the big gym at 7. Be sure you bring your gold card. Any questions, see Ms. Maslin in the Library.

The AUHS/WVHS musical: “Bye Bye Birdie” is opening THIS Thursday, November 3rd at 7 p.m. with a special student and staff night discounted price.  All tickets will be only $8 at the box office with a student or staff ID.  This special price is not available online.  You must come to the box office and get your tickets with your ID.   Please join us for opening night!

College T-shirt day: CSF invites you to wear your college t-shirt on Wednesday Nov 2nd.

Attention Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors: The ASVAB is coming soon. If you want to get a jump start on finding a career that’s right for you or are interested in the military, please don’t pass up this great opportunity to take the ASVAB for FREE! For more information and to sign-up please see Dani in the Go Center.

Seniors and Juniors:  Juniors and Seniors who are on the A-G track, there will be a list of qualifying students posted around campus, please join us this Thursday during RTI in the P.A.C. to hear information about CSU, Chico, as well as the CSU system in general.  Jeff Longsdon, an admissions counselor at CSU, Chico, will be sharing valuable insights as to how to best prepare for admission into the CSUs. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Martin in the counseling center.  All other Juniors and Seniors please go to your regularly scheduled RTI.

Coat/Blanket Drive: Cub Connection’s B.O.S.S. team will be hosting a coat/ blanket drive from November 1st through November 10th.  Please donate your gently used coats or blankets in Cub Connection room 211 by Thursday, November 10th. Remember all donations help needy families.

Pie in the face:  Hey Cubs, CSF is having a fundraiser called "Pie Your Teacher" stop by the CSF table during lunch this week to donate money to see your favorite teacher get a pie in their face this Friday during lunch!

Your face can be painted partially, but staff members have to be able to recognize you. Also, you can only wear a hat if it’s part of your costume. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Mason.

TONIGHT is SENIOR NIGHT for the Volleyball Team.  Come out tonight to watch our Senior Volleyball Players in their final Home Match!  Game Time is 6:30 PM.

Students: If you plan to play a winter sport please get all forms and physicals completed before season begins.

Boys Basketball: All Boys’ Basketball Players interested in trying out for the basketball team this year, there will be a meeting in the Library on Wednesday, October 26th, to sign-up and get information about tryouts.

Native American Students: Sacramento State University and UC Davis are hosting American Indian Motivation Day on Monday November 7. Students interested in attending please see Trina Wehunt in room 111

Girls Soccer players: There will be a meeting on Wednesday, Oct 26th during RTI in the small gym.  If you are not assigned to an RTI please attend.  If you are assigned to an RTI see Mrs. Romero for the information you missed.  Girls soccer tryouts will start November 1st at 3 p.m.  You must have a gold card to tryout. If you are in a fall sport, you may try out when your fall sport is finished, but please let Mrs. Romero know if you plan to try out.

Attention Seniors :  The sales person for National Recognition Products will be in the Cafeteria today to take orders.  If you need a catalog or information, please stop by and pick up the order forms so you will be ready to place your order at his next visit in November.

If you are eighteen, you do not need permission, only an activity release slip. Sign up with Mrs. Bradlyn in room 326. Sign-ups will also be held in the cafeteria during lunch this Tuesday and Wednesday. Once you sign-up, please return all permission slips and activity release forms to Mrs. Bradlyn in room 326.

Because after school on Monday’s the Service Learning Pod heads out to Prairie School.  If you are in need of community service hours or are simply looking to give back and make connections; join our team today.  See Mr. Osborn in room 127 to sign up and make a difference, and don’t forget to do something nice for someone today!

That is in 13 days.  Soccer will tentatively start November 1st from 3-5 p.m. rain or shine.  If you are still playing a fall sport at that time, please let Mrs. Romero know.

Attention Boys Soccer: Coach Dan wants all physicals and paper work done and gold cards from the attendance office turned into Mrs. Romero by November 1st.  If your card is in on time you will be allowed to come and scrimmage for practice on the November 8th, 9th, and 10th.  If your card comes in after November 1st you will have to wait till November 14th for the first official day of practice.

Seniors: Are you looking for help to pay for college?  Then check out the Scholarship Bulletin on the andersoncubs.com website, there are scholarships being updated all the time, so why not grab some of that money for your college education.
