Students:
Apple watches and other similar devices are electronic devices. They
will be held to the same standard as other electronic devices and will be
subject to the same acceptable use policy. Electronic devices are not to be
used in class. If you are using the device in class, a teacher will confiscate
the item and you will be disciplined according to the student handbook.
Students: The school dress code applies on
Halloween. You cannot have your face completely painted or wear a mask that
covers up your face. Your face can be painted partially, but staff members have
to be able to recognize you. Also, you can only wear a hat if it’s part of your
costume. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Mason.
Girls Basketball Tryouts: Tryouts will be Tues, November 1st
through Thursday, November 3rd from 7-9 p.m. in the big gym.
You must have a gold slip to participate. Please see Ms. Maslin in the library
if you have any questions.
Freshmen and Seniors: The 3rd
annual Ignite Opportunity STEM Career Day is this Friday October 28. The
event is held at the Shasta County Fairgrounds. Dismiss from class at
9:15, and the bus will depart at 9:20. We will return by 2:30. For
the freshmen who signed up, please return your forms to Ms. Pleitez ASAP.
For the seniors who signed up, please return your forms to Mr. Martin
ASAP. Thank you
All you wanna be surfers: We are having our first
surf club trip on Saturday Nov. 12th. All those interested can
start picking up paperwork and information from Mr. Slosted in room 312 on
Tuesday Nov. 1st. There’s limited seating, so get your stuff
in to reserve a spot. Surf’s up!!!
