Outdoor Adventure Club: For our next adventure, we will
be doing a moonlight hike to the top of Lassen peak on Saturday September 17th.
Sign up with Mr. Clawson in room 220 no later than Thursday September 15.
Space is limited, so sign up early.
Cub Connection: We will be hosting a tailgate
party before Homecoming game in the bus loop area from 3-5:30. There will be
live music, BBQ, and a spirit painting booth. Our goal is to have as many
people in the stands supporting Blue and Gold. Tell all your family and friends
to come join the fun. If you have any questions, please stop by Room 212 and
see Jennifer for more details.
Seniors-Please remember to make your
appointment with Creative Portraits to get your Senior Picture taken for the
yearbook, this is FREE if you get it done before the September 30th
deadline, if you wait there will be a $20 fee, and the final deadline is
October 14th, don’t miss out on getting your Senior picture in the
yearbook.
Seniors: Shasta College is hosting
a Preview Day on Thursday October 6. There will be campus tours, and they
will provide information on majors, admissions, financial aid, and student
life. Lunch will be provided. We will depart AUHS at 8:15, and
return by 1:45. Seating is limited. If you are interested in
attending, or have any questions, please stop by and see Mr. Martin, our GEAR
UP site coordinator, in the counseling center by September 23.
Parking Permits:
If you turned in a form for a parking permit and haven’t come to pick up
your parking permit please do so TODAY in the attendance office. Starting tomorrow all students without
parking passes will be cited if they are parked in the student parking lot
without a pass.
