Pictures retakes are on Monday, September 26th Lifetouch
Photography will be back on campus for their final visit to take picture of
students that have purchased pictures and want to have a re-take done.
You must bring back your picture packet on the photo date of Sept. 26th
and turn it in to them so they can do your retake. The sign up for
retakes is in the Student Store so please sign up ASAP. This is also the
final date for make-ups for students and staff that have not yet had their
pictures taken. Students will have their pictures taken by call-slip
notifications.
POWDERPUFF: Practices will continue Monday, September 26th and
Tuesday, September 27th. PowderPuff Game will be on Wednesday,
September 28th. Freshman vs. Sophomores at 6:00 PM and Juniors
vs. Seniors at 7:00 PM.
Seniors: Today is the deadline to
sign up for Shasta College Preview Day that will be on Thursday October 6.
There will be campus tours, and they will provide information on majors,
admissions, financial aid, and student life. Lunch will be
provided. We will depart AUHS at 8:15, and return by 1:45. Seating
is limited. If you are interested in attending, or have any questions,
please stop by and see Mr. Martin, our GEAR UP site coordinator.

for the Dress-up Days! Each day, dress up and take a picture with Cubby
at lunch use the daily hashtags and you could be the winner of some cool
prizes...
Monday is
Mariachi Monday, wear a sombrero and get ready for a SPICY lunchtime game…

Rock and Roll Day!

Western Wednesday

Hip-Hop Day

Classical Blue and Gold Day!
The
Homecoming Dance will be Saturday, October 1st from 8-11 in the
Small Gym.
Tickets are
on sale in the Student Store before school, during lunch or after school until
3pm. Pre-sale tickets are $7 with ASB, $8 without ASB. All tickets
will be $10 at the door, so make sure you buy your tickets ahead of time to
save money!
Cub Connection: Attention all cub clubs! Cub
connection will be hosting a tail gate party before the homecoming game from
3-5:30pm. This is a great opportunity to have a table set out for spirit. If
you would like to set up a table, please see Jennifer in room 212 by TODAY.
Soccer: Attention all girls and boys
soccer players our season is fast approaching. Please make sure you get
your physical and all your paper work done by October 24th.
See Mrs. Ahern in the attendance office to pick up the paperwork.
Information on the starting date will be coming soon.
Seniors: There is only one week left to get
your FREE Senior Yearbook picture with Creative Portraits the deadline for the
Free picture is September 30th. If you wait there will be a $20 fee, and the
final deadline is October 14th, don’t miss out on getting your
Senior picture in the yearbook.
Sober Grad
Homecoming Float: Attentions Seniors!!!
Sober Grad will be entering a Rollin' to the 80's float in the
homecoming parade. Any senior interested
in working on the float will need to contact Leni Baker @ 227-0909.
Seniors: On Thursday October 6 from
8:15-1:45, seniors have an opportunity to attend the Shasta College Preview
Day. There will be campus tours, and students will receive information on
majors, financial aid, and student life. Free lunch is provided, as well as
games and activities. Interested seniors need to sign up with Mr. Martin
ASAP, due to limited availability, and get their forms from his office in the
counseling center. Completed forms are to be returned to Mr. Martin by
September 30.
