Pictures retakes: Today is picture retakes, all students and
staff who have not previously had their picture taken for the yearbook and
student/staff ID cards will have their pictures done today. Call slips will go out to students who need
to have their picture taken, staff please stop by when convenient to have yours
done.
POWDERPUFF: PowderPuff Game is Wednesday, September 28th.
Freshman vs. Sophomores at 6:00 PM and Juniors vs. Seniors at 7:00 PM.
Homecoming: IT’s
HOMECOMING WEEK!!! The theme is “Anderson Music Mash-up”…
If you’re
dressed up, don’t forget to take a picture with Cubby at lunch use the daily
hashtags and you could be the winner of some cool prizes...
Today is
Mariachi Monday, wear a sombrero and get ready for a SPICY lunchtime game…

The
Homecoming Dance will be Saturday, October 1st from 8-11 in the
Small Gym.
Tickets are
on sale in the Student Store before school, during lunch or after school until
3pm. Pre-sale tickets are $7 with ASB, $8 without ASB. All tickets
will be $10 at the door, so make sure you buy your tickets ahead of time to
save money!
Seniors: This is the final week to get
your FREE Senior Yearbook picture with Creative Portraits the deadline for the
Free picture is September 30th. If you wait there will be a $20 fee, and the
final deadline is October 14th, don’t miss out on getting your
Senior picture in the yearbook.
Sober Grad
Homecoming Float: Attentions Seniors!!!
Sober Grad will be entering a Rollin' to the 80's float in the
homecoming parade. Any senior interested
in working on the float will need to contact Leni Baker @ 227-0909.
Seniors: On Thursday October 6 from
8:15-1:45, seniors have an opportunity to attend the Shasta College Preview
Day. There will be campus tours, and students will receive information on
majors, financial aid, and student life. Free lunch is provided, as well as
games and activities. Interested seniors need to sign up with Mr. Martin
ASAP, due to limited availability, and get their forms from his office in the
counseling center. Completed forms are to be returned to Mr. Martin by
September 30.
Cub Connection: We will be hosting a tailgate
party before Homecoming game in the bus loop area from 3-5:30. There will be
live music, BBQ, and a spirit painting booth. Our goal is to have as many
people in the stands supporting Blue and Gold. Tell all your family and friends
to come join the fun. If you have any questions, please stop by Room 212 and
see Jennifer for more details.
Seniors: If you have signed up to
attend the Shasta College Preview Day, please return your activity release form
and parent permission slip to Mr. Martin by Friday September 30. You can
get these forms from Mr. Martin in the counseling center. Thank you!
Native American students wanting to attend
American Indian College Motivation Day on Friday October 14 at Humboldt State
University please see Trina Wehunt in room 111 for a permission slip. This a
fun and free event. Food and transportation will be provided.
