Students:
The Attendance Challenge event is today! The grand prize is a PowerBeats 3
Wireless. There will be many other prizes given away and everyone will be
getting pizza. Please go the P.A.C. when 3rd period is complete to
attend this event. You will have to sign-in before entering the P.A.C.
Seniors: Ad’s for Grads information was mailed home
and is due no later than Feb 8th, please turn in your information to
Mr. Rouse or to Marti in the student store.
Shasta TRIO students: if you are
interested in participating in an overnight TRIO Leadership Conference at
Humboldt State, please stop by the GO Center and pick up a permission slip from
Mrs. Esparza. Space is limited, so get your permission in
ASAP.
Students! Shasta TRIO ETS program has openings! If you are a
student that would like additional FREE resources to help you plan and prepare
for college, please stop by the GO Center and pick up an application. We
are currently accepting applications in all grade levels. Services
offered include career awareness and exploration, academic
advising, financial literacy, college campus field trips and cultural
events. Talk to Mrs. Esparza if you have any questions or would like to
know more about program.

Preview Week is here! Today’s presentations in the Library will be -- 1st
period: Public Safety and Firefighter Training, 2nd period:
Administration of Justice. Meet these ROP teachers and find out if ROP is right
for you. Activity Release is required!
Juniors:
There is an information meeting for College Connection at 6:00 p.m. on
Wednesday, February 6th in the Library for any Juniors interested in spending
their Senior year at Shasta College earning both high school and college
credits. Interested juniors with a minimum 2.0 GPA are encouraged to
apply. An instructor from College Connection will be there to present
information on the program and to answer any questions. See your counselor for
more information, or click on the College Connection link under Academics on
the Shasta College website.
