Congratulations to Reagan Diaz and Anthony De Bem. They were
selected as the November students of the month at AUHS.
Students: This message is for
those that love to wait till the last minute to apply for college! CSU and UC
fall admissions applications are due on November 30th. GEAR UP and the
Counseling Office will be hosting a CSU and UC College Application
Assistance Night on Wednesday November 29th in the Library from 6:00pm to
8:00pm. All AUHS students and parents are welcome, especially Seniors!
Students: The
Department of Fish and Wildlife will be offering a Hunters Education Class on
Saturday December 16th from 10-2 at Anderson High School in room
311. If you are planning on attending this class, you will need to enroll
yourself at www.wildlife.ca.gov/huntered/classes.
The cost is $15. If you have any questions stop by room 311 and see
Mr. Morphew. Additional classes will offered throughout the next 6
months.
Attention Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors: The
Fall ASVAB is coming soon! If you want to get a jump start on finding a career
that’s right for you, please don’t pass up this great opportunity to take the
ASVAB for FREE! Test date is Tuesday, December 5th 8am-11am in the
Library. For more information and to sign-up please see Dani in the Go Center.
Seniors: Mrs.
Esparza, Mr. Zippay and/or Mr. Martin will be in the Go Center during lunch
every day until Nov. 30 to help you fill out your college applications.
Please stop in for one-on-one assistance. Remember, CSU and UC applications are
due November 30th. Don't wait until the last minute!
Seniors: The National Recognition Products
sales rep will be here on Thursday November 30th for the Final
Senior Grad order, prices will continue to increase on graduation products so
don’t delay order your supplies today.
FFA Christmas tree lot is open in
the Safeway parking lot 8am-8pm daily until trees are sold out, please share
with friends and family, these are the best tree prices in town.
