Attention
Cub Athletes: If you are not currently in a fall sport and are interested
in wrestling practices will start on Monday-Friday from 3-5 pm. Please
get your Gold card from Mrs. Ahern in the attendance office, you must have your
gold card before you can practice. If you have any questions please see
Mr. Stout or Mr. Penick.
Key
Club: There is meeting Monday, November 13th during RTI in
room 326. Please attend to discuss upcoming events such as the Anderson Tree
Lighting and the annual Christmas Party.
Seniors: The National Recognition Products Rep is
scheduled to be here Today during lunch to take orders for graduation
announcements and cap and gown orders, don’t’ delay the prices will increase.
Attention Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors: The
Fall ASVAB is coming soon! If you want to get a jump start on finding a career
that’s right for you, please don’t pass up this great opportunity to take the
ASVAB for FREE! Test date is Tuesday, December 5th 8am-11am in the
Library. For more information and to sign-up please see Dani in the Go Center.
Seniors: Mrs. Esparza, Mr. Zippay and/or Mr. Martin will be in the Go
Center during lunch every day until Nov. 30 to help you fill out your
college applications. Please stop in for one-on-one assistance. Remember, CSU
and UC applications are due November 30th. Don't wait until the last
minute!
Basketball cheer try-outs will be held Monday November 13th thru Wednesday November 15th
from 4:30 to 5:30. On Monday the 13th there will be a mandatory parent
meeting at 4 to discuss pricing. If you have any questions please call

Seniors:
On Friday November 17, GEAR UP will be taking seniors to Ashland, Oregon for
SOU’s preview day. Events include tours, an information and academic fair,
faculty presentations, an application workshop, and an opportunity to become a
Raider on the spot. Breakfast and lunch are provided. All events are FREE.
Space is limited. Please contact Mr. Martin in the counseling office to sign
up.
Attention Students: Wes
Camp is coming soon and we need volunteers! If you’re at least 16 years old and
have a 2.0 GPA, please apply. Applications are available in the Go Center.
Students:
if you received a 3.0 G.P.A. or higher in the first quarter, you are eligible
to attend the matinee showing of “Hello Dolly” TODAY from 8:10 a.m. to 11:15
a.m. during school. You must check into your first period class before
attending. The dismissal list is posted around campus
and roll call will be taken in the Performing Arts Center. After the play
please return to your fourth period class.
