Attention
Seniors: TONIGHT @ 6:00pm, in the
AUHS Library: Senior/Senior Parent Information Night.
This event provides an overview of the year for seniors, including important
dates/deadlines, graduation, college admissions, scholarship opportunities, and
financial aid information. We hope to see you there!
Attention
all future girls and boys soccer players: If you are
planning to play soccer this winter please sign up with Mr. Curiel or Mrs.
Romero
Students: The cafeteria has a Second
Chance Breakfast Cart ready for you to come and eat! We will serve between 2nd
and 3rd periods. Please remember that we
stop serving as soon as the bell rings, so hurry on over. We also have the cart out at lunch for a quick
Grab and Go lunch!
Seniors:
On Friday November 17, GEAR UP will be taking seniors to Ashland, Oregon for
SOU’s preview day. Events include tours, an information and academic fair,
faculty presentations, an application workshop, and an opportunity to become a
Raider on the spot. Breakfast and lunch are provided. All events are FREE.
Space is limited. Please contact Mr. Martin to sign up.
Attention
all powder puff participants: All blue extracurricular activity
forms must be turned into Mr. Long in room 321 before you are allowed to coach
or practice with your team. Practice time will be from 6:00 to 7:00 pm Tuesday
through Thursday of this week. Please meet in front of the big gym at 6:00 each
day.
Students:
Homecoming Nominations will be help this Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday and
lunch in the Quad.

All Senior Football Players: Please have the money turned in
for senior night posters to Marti in the student store by October 6th.

Hoco 2K17: Cubs Culture Week
Monday,
October 2nd-Revenge of the
Nerds: It’s time to kick off the 2017 homecoming week with a Nerd Day. Make
sure you come to school in a full nerd attire and come out to the quad for some
trivia crack.
Tuesday,
October 3rd-In Need of Some
Country Air: Howdy Y’all! Get on boots, spurs, and your cowboy hats and
head out to the quad at lunch for a hay bucking contest. Have a hootin’ and
hollerin’ good time.
Wednesday,
October 4th-Skate or Die day:
Make sure you catch some air on your way to school wearing a thrasher shirt and
some vans. Also make sure to head out to the quad at lunch for a gnarly
activity.
Thursday,
October 5th- That’s so not
Frat: Attention all pledges! Dress out in your best Sperry’s, Chubbies, and
Polo’s, then come out at lunch and play some frattacular game of cornhole.
Friday,
October 6th- S’port your Extreme
Blue and Gold Day/Jock Day: Wear your favorite jersey that represents our
school colors! And if you don’t own a jersey, show up in some extreme blue and
gold and S’port our cubs.
Saturday,
October 7th- A Cliché Night
at the Dance!!: Come dance around on Saturday October 7th from 8-11pm in
the big gym! Dress casual and comfortable!! Tickets will be on sale Wednesday
September 27th during lunch for $10 without an ASB sticker, $8 with an ASB and
$12 at the door. (Please no heels)
