Safety Awareness Week
SAFETY TIP OF THE DAY:
“One in ten people in the United States suffer injuries while texting and
walking. Most of these accidents occur when texters trip over or walk into
items they failed to see because their attention was focused elsewhere. While
some trips may just be embarrassing, other accidents can be more serious. A
texting pedestrian dies every 110 minutes in the United States for failing to
yield to traffic on roadways and in parking lots.” Please report all safety
hazards to the principal’s office or Safety Sam at ext. 20050.
