tickets today at lunch. The hot chocolate is rich and compelling, plus it comes
with your choice of a peppermint or chocolate accent. All for just two bucks.
But wait, remember, there's more, all hot chocolate purchases will be entered
into a drawing to win a Dutch Bros gift card. Pre-sale hot chocolate orders
will be available to pick up from the leadership room in Sophomore Hall
starting at 7 AM on Friday, March 9th.
Juniors: There will be a Junior Class meeting on
Tuesday, March 13th in the PAC at 11:15. All Juniors will be dismissed to attend this
meeting at that time.
All AUHS Students: There is a new and
exciting POD starting Tuesday, March 13th in Cub Connection. The pod will run from 3-5 pm Tuesdays and
Thursdays. The name of the POD is "Game On Together." Due to Mr.
Long's experience in the world of mainstream sporting games, the POD will start
with a focus on exhibitions and tournaments of NBA2K. However, Mr. Long wants
all gamers to come and give input on the direction the POD needs to go. He
knows he is old and doesn't understand all the "Hot Beats in the
Streets." Mr. Long will be looking at all options for gaming, including
the use of computers and all other forms of competitive games that everyone can
play. So if you have an idea of how the POD can grow into a thriving
atmosphere of gamers, please come by room 321 and talk to Mr. Long. Or show up
on the first day of the POD, Tuesday, March 13th, in the cub connection room
with all the couches, and we can not only "Game On Together," but
also work together to build something that is enjoyable for all who attend.
