Attention
All Advanced Placement Students: Monday is the last day to pay
your deposit for the AP exam, Ms. Murphy is out of her office today, so
payments can be made to Mrs. Knabenshue in the Principals office today.
Juniors:
if you did not compete your SBAC ELA exam on Wednesday, please report to the
library after 1st period today. You will be working towards
finishing the exam during 2nd and 3rd period. The list of
students who have not completed the exam has been posted next to the RTI lists.
Seniors: The Anderson Community Scholarship Application is due TODAY. If you have a 2.5 GPA or higher, you should apply. There are a lot of scholarships available. Applications can be picked up in the counseling office and turned in to your counselor. Please check out the Scholarship Bulletin on the Website.
Seniors:
your senior contracts are due by TODAY. Please turn these into the attendance
office as soon as possible.
Juniors: There will be
an SAT/ACT test preparation workshop offered on March 24. Please sign up
with Mrs. Esparza if you are interested in participating in this FREE workshop
to help prepare you for the SAT /ACT. Space is limited
Cheerleading: Cheer tryouts for 2018-2019 year will be
held Tues thru Thurs March 27th -29th from 4:30-6:30pm in
the High School cafeteria, you MUST have a gold card to try out.
Key
Club: There is a meeting during RTI TODAY in room 326 to discuss the
upcoming Blood Drive.
Attention Cub
Connection participants! We are offering
an opportunity for your artwork to be displayed at Anderson City
Hall. See Valerie for paper and put your imagination to work on a nature
theme! All drawings or paintings should be turned into Valerie in room 211
before Spring Break. See her also if you have any questions.
Juniors:
There will be a prom meeting on Monday March 26th in room 213 during
lunch.
Seniors: If you have been accepted to a 4-year
University, please come by the counseling office and let Trina and your
counselor know.
Students: Lassen View &
Rother Elementary are in need of Wes Camp Cabin Counselors to volunteer for April
10-13th. If you’re at least 16 years old and have 2.0
GPA, please pick up an application from the Go Center.
Seniors:
If you are going on the UCLA, UC Santa Barbara Spring Break Field Trip, there
will be a brief meeting in Mr. Long’s classroom (room 321) during RTI today. If
you have already turned in a permission slip to Mr. Zippay, please be in
attendance at this meeting.
Sober Grad: Seniors
there will be a sober grad table set up in front of the cafeteria at lunch on
Monday. Please stop by and learn more about what we have planned for the
Sober Grad Party. You can also turn in your sold raffle tickets or pick
some up if you haven't yet.
BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Marie Swain
for placing second in Job Interview and Camille Pryde for winning the
Extemporaneous at the Superior Region FFA Speaking Contest. Both of these
talented young ladies will be moving on to compete at the state level next
month.
