Juniors: A College Connection
informational meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 6th at 6pm
in the Library. College Connection students attend Shasta College during their
senior year and earn both high school and college credits. Attend this meeting
if you are interested in applying for this program.”
Sophomores and Juniors: ROP Preview
Day is TODAY! Come find out what ROP class is right for you! Presentations
are in the Library during 1st and 2nd period. See Dani in
the Go Center if you have questions. Activity Release Required.

Restaurant Occupations

– Administration of Justice, Firefighter Training & Public Safety, Careers
with Children & Child Psychology, and Medical Careers
WES
Camp Cabin Leaders Needed: Pacheco is going to WES Camp
Feb. 13 – 16. Must be 16 years old and have at least a 2.0 GPA. Pick up an
application from Dani in the Go Center. Looks great on college and scholarship
applications, as well as a great opportunity to get community service hours.

JUNIORS: The first Prom planning meeting will be held on Wednesday,
February 7th in room 213 at Lunch. Come help us plan an EPIC
NIGHT!
BOYS GOLF: All interested
players sign up with Coach Longnecker in room 322. Practice / Try-outs
begin on February 26th. Turn in your athletic forms and get a yellow card
after school before you can participate.
Seniors:
Humboldt State University Field Trip permission packets are due on February 9th.
Turn in your permission packets to Mr. Zippay in the counseling office.
Seniors:
GEAR UP is sponsoring a FAFSA Completion Sweepstakes. Complete your Free
Application for Federal Student Aid at fafsa.ed.gov by March 2nd to
be entered for a chance to win an Apple MacBook Air! Contact Mr. Zippay in the
counseling office if you have questions.
Track: There will be a track meeting in room 124
this Friday, February 9th from 2:45-3:15. If you are interested in track
but are in another sport and have practice or cannot attend for other reasons
try to pick up the information on Friday from Mr. Curiel or Mrs. Romero. Track
practice starts February 20th for all those not involved in a winter
sport.

Grams: AUHS Choir will be selling
candy grams during lunch for $1 this week during lunch. Give us money and we’ll send candy to your
honey.
