Seniors:
This year, due to a late start in the week, Senior Sunrise will not take place
this Friday. Senior Sunrise will take place next Friday on August 25th.
Lockers: Any students who do not need or
want their locker, please see Ms. Maslin in the library, so that it can be used
by another student who may need one.
Girls
Tennis: Be part of the Girls Tennis Team. No experience necessary.
Practices begin Monday, August 21st, 3:15 - 5pm. Get you paperwork
from Mrs. Ahern. See you on the courts!
Picture
Make up day:
All students that did NOT attend our Round Up on Aug 9th
or enrolled after Aug. 9th have to have their picture taken on
Monday Aug. 21st. The pictures are for the yearbook and also
for your student ID card so very important to get your picture taken on this
makeup date. All staff will also need to go to the small gym for
Lifetouch pictures also. The students will have call slips to leave
during their Social Science class to be able to participate in the makeup
pictures in the small gym. Another date is planned in September for
retakes. Picture order forms are available in the Principals Office.
Students, the following is the new quarter tardy policy for the
2017-18 school year:

4th
accumulative tardy per quarter: One detention. (after school or lunch time)

7th
accumulative tardy per quarter: Two detentions. (after school or lunch time)
·
10th accumulative
tardy per quarter: Saturday

13th

Students, personal use of
electronic devices will only be allowed during the scheduled lunch period each
day. They will not be allowed at any other time of the school day unless a
teacher authorizes you to use them for academic purposes. They must be off, out
of sight, and put away. If you have additional questions, please ask a staff
member for clarification.
Parking
Permits: Students who park in student parking need to have parking permits
turned in by Friday August 25th. After the 25th you will
not be allowed to park in student parking without a 2017/2018 school year
parking permit. Also new staff members who need staff parking passes please see
Mr. Bell.
Attention ROP students: The students who have ROP during
3rd and 4th period need to be excused from 2nd
period at 9:30am in order to catch your bus every day. Students who have
5th and 6th period ROP must head to the bus at NOON
everyday which is during Lunch. No ROP students are allowed to drive
off campus for ROP until they fill out the proper paperwork and get it approved
by the principal. There are NO exceptions to this rule! See Dani
Pavone in the Go Center if you need a driving form or have any questions about
ROP.
Work Permit Renewal: Work permits will expire Friday
8/18. If you need to renew your work permit please pick up an application from
Dani in the Go Center and return it signed by your parent and employer.
Students: Effective immediately all Cookies
brand backpacks are no longer allowed on the AUHS campus. If you have any questions,
please see administration for further clarification
Students: RTI will not officially begin until Monday,
August 28th, however you will still be required to stay for the RTI
time in the following assigned periods until dismissal at 2:33 until RTI
officially begins.
