Seniors:
This year, due to a late start in the week, Senior Sunrise will not take place
this Friday. Senior Sunrise will take place next Friday on August 25th.
Picture
Make up day:
All students that did NOT attend our Round Up on Aug 9th
or enrolled after Aug. 9th have to have their picture taken TODAY.
The pictures are for the yearbook and also for your student ID card so very
important to get your picture taken on this makeup date. All staff will
also need to go to the small gym for Lifetouch pictures please. The
students will have call slips to leave during their Social Science class to be
able to participate in the makeup pictures in the small gym. Another date
is planned in September for retakes. Picture order forms are available in
the Principals Office.
Students:
AUHS is presenting the Attendance Challenge for the 2017-18 school year. If you
are absent three days or less throughout each semester, you will have
successfully completed the challenge. Anyone who successfully completes the
challenge will receive a catered lunch and entered into a drawing consisting of
various prizes. Some of the prizes will be announced throughout the semester.

Swim
Team: The Swim team is looking for new members. All freshmen,
sophomores, juniors, and seniors (boys and girls) are encouraged to come out
for the team. Swimming is a great sport to begin in high school.
You will quickly develop good swim technique that you will use your whole
life. Practice is after school in the coolest place on campus—the
pool.
If you are thinking about swimming, let Coach Williams know, get
your athletic paperwork from the attendance office, and start practicing as
soon as possible. No tryout are required. Come join the Cub Swim
Team today.
Students: Effective immediately all Cookies
brand backpacks are no longer allowed on the AUHS campus. If you have any questions,
please see administration for further clarification
Students: RTI will not officially begin until Monday,
August 28th, however you will still be required to stay for the RTI
time in the following assigned periods until dismissal at 2:33 until RTI
officially begins.

Football: Anyone still interested in being a member of the JV football

GIRLS GOLF: Be a
part of the 6 time Defending League Championship Golf Team. Sign up
today with Coach Longnecker in room 322 for more details.
Musical Theater: There will be a musical audition workshop on
Thursday, August 24th in the AUHS PAC from 4-6 pm. All students interested in auditioning for
the musical should attend.
Work Permits: ALL work permits issued last
school year have now expired! You must renew your work permit to continue
working. Work permit applications are available in the Go Center, see Dani Pavone
if you have questions.
