Juniors: You will be taking the Math SBAC
exam today. Each day the test will be proctored during 2nd and 3rd
period. We are following the same format as the English SBAC exam, however your
room assignments might have changed. Your individual room assignments have been
posted next to the RTI lists. Please check these lists so you know your
individual room assignment before the day of the test. If your name is not
posted on any of the lists, please see Mr. Mason or your math teacher for
clarification. Remember the incentives for performing well on the exam as well.
Attention Juniors and Seniors: If you are planning on bringing
a guest from another school to the prom, you must have your guest pass in by TODAY,
Wednesday, May 17th.
Prom Tickets: Only 3 days left to get your Prom
tickets. You can purchase your Prom
tickets in the student store before school at lunch or after school until 3pm,
until Friday, May 19th. No
ticket sales at the door, and your must have all student fees paid.
Going to prom? Want to hear a specific
song?? Go to our school website to fill out the song request form! You
must be logged on to your school google account in order to access the google
form J
Students: Yearbooks are on sale now for
only $60, order yours today. Yearbooks will be handed out to Seniors next
Tuesday, May 23rd, and to the everyone else on Wednesday, May 24th
during lunch in the student store.
From the CAFETERIA: All charges must be
paid before the end of the school year. Also, all senior charges must be paid
and signed off by the cafeteria to have their checkout forms for graduation
complete.
Link Crew
May Day: Do you want
to be a part of next year’s Link Crew? Link Crew runs Frosh orientation
and helps new students acclimatize to our school culture. If you are
willing to help out for next year then come to May Day this Thursday; stop by
Mr. Osborn’s room to pick up an activity release form.
Students: All library books are now
due. Please turn in any books you have checked out to avoid being billed.
GIRLS
GOLF: All girls wanting to play for the girls’ golf team need to
sign up with coach Longnecker in room 322 and receive information about summer
golf clinics and summer golf opportunities.
Attention all students interested
in taking the Leadership class next semester: There will be a meeting at lunch
in the library tomorrow, May 18th, to discuss the overall scope of the program
and admittance requirements and procedures. Please be there if you plan on
taking the leadership class next year.
Attention Students: We need WES Camp volunteers! If you’re at
least 16 years old and have a 2.0 GPA, please apply. Applications are available
in the Go Center.
Students: Have you ever thought about hosting an
exchange student? Anderson Rotary is
looking for host families for a 16-year-old boy from Brazil. He loves soccer and exploring the
outdoors. They are looking for 3
different families to host for a little over 3 months each. If you’re interested, please contact Cory

Sophomores and Juniors: Please join us for the
National Practice Test Weekend. Take a free SAT vs. ACT Combo Test and see
which exam is right for you. Join Kaplan on May 20 and 21 Live Online to try
both tests. Register at www.kaptest.com/practicetestweekend, or see Mr. Martin in the
counseling center.
All students: interested in running for Class
Office for the 2017-2018 School year need to pick up an application from Mr.
Long in Room 321. The application deadline has been EXTENDED to Tuesday,
May 23rd. Campaigning begins next week, so don’t delay!
Staff and Students: Tonight is the
Anderson High School Spring Band Concert. Admission is only $5 so come out and support
your Cub Band!
