Lady Cubs: There will be a field trip on
May 5th for Shasta College’s “Non-Traditional Employment for Women”
Event. There will be information on high paying careers that are looking to
hire women. There will also be food and prizes. Pick up an information
packet in the counseling office, and return your field trip permission slip and
activity release form to Mr. Jones to reserve your spot ASAP.
Prom: Prom Tickets are on sale now through Friday,
May 19th in the student store, before school, at lunch, or after school until
3:00. Ticket prices are $30 single, $50 couple. Prom is on May 20th
at the Stirring.
Staff/Students: It's time for the
AUHS/WVHS Annual Old West Dinner Show. There will be a staff and student
discount night on Wed., May 10th. Tickets are only $15 for that night
only and include a tri-tip dinner, great music, fun dancing, and a hilarious
western melodrama. Please see your performing arts teacher or Mrs. Hughes
for a seat reservation. The show will be performed at the Anderson Church
of Christ. Seating starts at 5:30 p.m. and the show at 6:00 p.m.

Attention CSF Members: We will be meeting Today and tomorrow
during RTI in room 310. This is a MUST ATTEND meeting for all members who missed
the meeting prior to spring break. Seniors must bring a report on their 4th
quarter progress check to finalize CSF paperwork.
Students: Please join us for the Crashed
Car Event during lunch on Wednesday, May 3rd; prize wheel, fatal vision
goggle games, Casey’s Pledge.
Class
of 2017 Senior T-Shirts and sweatshirts will be available to order starting TODAY,
May 2nd : All orders need to be returned by Wednesday, May 10th
. The order form will be
handed out to students in their Social Science Class on TUESDAT or can be
picked up in room 215.
Reminder to all Cub Connection
students: Our
Amazing Race will be tomorrow at 3:15, in the quad area.
The
prize for each winning team member is a Dutch Bros card! Sign up your
team in either Cub Connection room.
ATTENTION SENIORS: Graduation is
quickly approaching and the high school memories are the things we cherish the
most! But do you want to win a Dutch Bros gift card for making memories? Then
all you have to do is upload 1 high school throwback picture on any social
media from May 22nd to May 30th with the hashtag #FINALDAYSOFHIGHSCHOOL to be
entered in to win a Dutch Bros gift card. The winner will be announced at the
Senior Send-Off Rally on May 30th.
Juniors: If you haven’t started or finished
your English Language Arts assessments, you will be finishing your tests on
Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday this week. The names of the students who
haven’t finished the exams will be posted next to the RTI lists today. All
students will be tested in the library during second and third period. If you
have any questions, please see Mr. Mason.
