Girls
Basketball: All Girls trying out for the basketball team, Tryouts have been
rescheduled for Today, Tuesday Nov 5th, and Wednesday Nov 6th
after school. Make sure to turn in your athletic paperwork to Marti in the
Student Store to get your gold card. Talk to Mr. Jones if you have any
questions.
Students: In-N-Out will be holding
interviews for the new Redding store on November 7th and 8th.
Applicants will be individually scheduled for interviews. If anyone is
interested, please apply online at in-n-out.com, and we will schedule an
interview with you. Interviews will be
held at the Holiday Inn Express at 2240 Hilltop Drive Redding, CA. Scheduled
Interview times are November 7th
– 9 am to 5 pm and November 8th
– 9 am to 2 pm
Boys
Basketball: Official Men's Basketball
signups will be this Tuesday, in the quad, at lunch. Mr. Long will be at a
table with the sign-up sheets. Tryouts, for all athletes not participating in a
fall sport, will start the following Monday. All athletes will need a gold card
to tryout.
Cub
Connection: Due to the power outage, we have rescheduled our Fallapalooza
celebration of games and activities to this Thursday, Nov 7th, at 3pm.
Pajama party and fun all in one very cool after school experience.
Seniors:
if you are interested in learning about the McConnell Scholarship and how to
apply, please sign up in the GO Center. A presentation will take place in
the library on November 14, during 6th period. You will also
need to have an Activity Release form signed to attend. The McConnell
Scholarship comes with a financial
award of up to $30,000, personal mentoring, and an annual leadership
conference. Thirty students from our region will receive this
award in 2020.
