Basketball
POD: For this week only, Mr.
Jones’s extremely popular basketball shooting pod will be on Wednesday and
Thursday, since Mr. Jones is out of town on Tuesday, but he’s looking forward
to seeing everyone Wednesday at 3pm, then back to the normal schedule.
Attention
all students and staff: Applications for Nature Bridge
Yosemite 2020 will be open October 1-15. Students if you have already
been there and want to go back they will be taking students a second time to be
mentors. The trip is over spring break April 5-10 so you won’t have to miss any
class or make up work. . Log on to www.mcconnellfoundation.org/programs
to fill out the application. If you have any questions see Mrs. Romero or
Mr. Clawson
Cub Connection: Did you
know? Cub Connection's Field Study Trips are open to all AUHS
students. These are designed to give you an opportunity to explore various
careers and see what is available in our area. This Thursday, Sept 26, we will
be going to Oroville to visit the Kirshner Wildlife Sanctuary. If you are
interested, please see Jen in room 212.
Shasta TRIO ETS students:
We have a FREE field trip to CSU Cal Maritime on 10/26/19. Stop
by and pick up a permission slip at the TRIO desk in the GO Center or see Mrs.
Esparza.

Exchange Students arrive in January and depart early June! One
of the most important things in this life is making a difference
through community service! Council for
Educational Travel USA, a nonprofit educational organization, is looking for
families in your community to open up their heart and home to students from
around the world. You can help make their dreams come true, and at the same
time promote your knowledge of understanding another culture. Bring the world
to your doorstep! Please help make a
difference in their lives and ask me about hosting a high school
foreign exchange student for Spring Semester and Next Academic School

Cub Connection: Got math
problems? Cub Connection has the answer! Every Tuesday and Thursday
we offer Math Tutoring with Mr. Osborne, in his room 127. Open to all AUHS
students, just see Jen in room 212 to sign up. Bonus: your participation
earns you a Cub Activity Buck.
