Key
Club: There is a Key Club meeting this Thursday September 5th
during lunch in room 326. If you were a member last year and want to be part of
the club again, please don’t miss it. Anyone else interested in joining and
finding out what Key Club is all about, please join us.
Attention
Anderson High TRIO ETS students: Mrs. Esparza will be on
campus on Thursdays and Fridays. Please stop by and say hello and/or if you
have any questions regarding the TRIO ETS program.
Juniors
and Seniors: The Shasta College TRIO
ETS pre-college program has some openings. Stop by the GO Center and talk
to Mrs. Esparza and get an application to join. Fun college field trips
and college success information is what you will get if you join NOW!

Attention Students and Staff: This Friday is Cub Club Day. Leadership is helping to give
your club the opportunity to show the student body how awesome it
is. We will set up tables and play music to provide an atmosphere of
ease where students can explore the clubs available to them. Please contact Mr.
Long if you are wanting a table at the event.
Boys Soccer: There will be a meeting at
lunch TODAY in the library if you are interested in playing please attend.
Students:
Having trouble with your math or science class? Come to room 215 for math
and science tutoring on Mondays after school from 2:45-3:45. Make sure
you sign in at Cub Connection before you come.
Guys:
If you've always wanted to try out volleyball, now is your chance! Sign up
tomorrow during lunch to participate in Anderson's first annual Buff Puff game.
Buff Puff is essentially powder puff for the guys, the underclassmen
(freshman and sophomores) will compete against the upperclassman (Juniors and
Seniors) in a volleyball game. Each team will be coached by current
Anderson volleyball players, practice will be Monday and Wednesday next week
from 5-6pm. The match will be played on
Thursday September 12 at 3pm, best 2 out of 3 games win!
Cub Connection: Hey Cubs we're
offering FREE ADMISSION again this week for our game against Orland.
See Jen in room 212 with your spirit outfit on Friday for your
ticket. Go Cubs!
Cub
Connection: We will be starting a Coding POD soon for any students who would
like to learn to code in HTML, Javascript and Python languages. Stay tuned for
a starting date and see Valerie in room 211 if you're interested or have any
questions. Get a start on a coding career right here on campus!!!
