Attention students:  if you signed up for a Shasta library card then please come to the attendance office to pick it up. There will be a list posted outside the attendance office and in the cafeteria of those students who have a card.

Seniors: Sober Grad Gun Raffle tickets are due to Marti in the Student Store by Monday, March 11th, if you need more they are also available in the Student Store. Also remember there is cash prizes for the top 3 sellers. 1st place $100, 2nd place $75, 3rd place $50.

Students: All electronic devices (phones, ear pods, headphones, etc.) are required to be off and out of sight from 7:45 a.m. to 11:34 a.m. and 12:09 p.m. to 2:33 p.m. during the school day. They can only be accessed during lunch. If they are being accessed or visible for any reason, they will be confiscated by staff, no exceptions. If you need to contact your parents, guardians, or friends, you need to submit a request to your teacher or another staff member before accessing your device.

Attention all students: Next week will be our Sadie's week. Our dress up days are as followed.
·         Today is Rock n’ Roll vs. Hip Hop, Come dressed as a rock star, or come dressed for the hip hop stage with snapbacks and loose clothing.
·         Friday is our EXTREME blue and gold, dress in extreme blue and gold. 

8th grade invasion: The 8th grade invasion will be this Friday, March 8th, please welcome the incoming 8th grade students to the “Cub Family” and show them our Cub Spirit. 8th grade students will be rotating through stations on campus throughout the day.  At 11:24 all students will participate in the “Welcome Tunnel”.  There will be a rally at 1:10, please see the following schedule for the day.

Attention all students: Leadership will be hosting our annual Sadie Hawkins Dance in Sophomore Hall this Saturday, March 9th, from 8-10 pm - Don’t forget, the girls ask the guys. Our dance theme this year is Fire vs. Ice.  Come dance your heart out to the hottest jams around, plus enjoy good food and great friends. Leadership will be selling pre-sale tickets at lunch Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of this week. Prices are $5 w/ASB, $7 without/ASB, and $10 at the door.




Cub Connection: For this year’s Amazing Race event Cub Connection will be competing against West Valley’s Eagle Vision at their school on Thursday, March 21st.  Sign-up sheets are in both Cub Connection rooms, find a partner and be ready to earn your Dutch Bros card!
Students: BOSS team announces its first 'Dinner and Cosplay Movie Night' on Thursday, March 21st from 6-8 pm. In Room 212.  We'll have a spaghetti dinner while watching Avengers.  Tickets are $8 in advance, $10 at the door, available from Jen in Cub Connection.
Students: YCC 2019 summer youth program is now accepting applications. Anyone between 15 - 18 years of age may apply for a summer job. There will be 10 positions available. It is an 8-week program, beginning on June 10, 2019. Applications are due by May 10, 2019. For more information or an application see Dani in the Go Center.
Shasta TRIO students: field trip permission packets are available in the GO Center with Mrs. Esparza for the Spring Break 3-Day trip (April 14th-16th).  We will be visiting UC Santa Cruz, Stanford & UC Berkley as well as a trip to Alcatraz Island and Pier 39 in San Francisco.  Space is limited, so please turn those permission slips in ASAP.  This trip is FREE to Shasta TRIO students.  
All student: if you are interested in the Shasta TRIO program and would like an opportunity to participate in college field trips, talk to Mrs. Esparza in the GO Center.  Mrs. Esparza is on campus on Thursdays and Fridays.
