Students: All Cookies apparel is not allowed at AUHS
effective immediately. Please do not wear any clothing, backpacks, or any other
Cookies attire onto campus.
Attention
all Anderson students: We all know how hot the days are
and how we sometimes wish we could just jump in a cool, refreshing pool.
Well, you can! Join the swim team and stay cool, while you learn to swim
better and you compete on a Cub sport. Stop putting it off and see Mr. Williams
today in room 219. Or come to the swimming pool after school and check
out. All boys and girls are welcome to join the swim team.
Students:
the attendance/tardy policy at AUHS states the following for each quarter; 3
tardies – 1 detention, 7 tardies - 2 detentions, 10 tardies – Saturday School,
and every 3 tardies after is an additional Saturday School. Be on time!
The AUHS Attendance Challenge is back! If you have 3 full day
absences or less in each semester, you will be eligible to attend the event.
Last year we gave away over $2000 dollars in prizes, free pizza, and the grand
prize for each event was a Kindle Fire. Come to school and be rewarded!
Students: Tomorrow, August 23nd,
in the AUHS PAC at 3 p.m., will be the AUHS/WVHS fall musical information
party. This is for all students who would like to know more about
participating in the fall musical. All AUHS/WVHS students are
invited to attend.

Students: The snack bar is now located in the cafeteria to the left of
where we serve the pizza. Thank You!
Attention
Seniors: Senior Sunrise is this Friday, August 24th. Time of arrival is
6:15 AM at the home side bleachers. Jack's Doughnuts will be provided. First
come, First serve.
All
Students: Upward Bound is currently accepting applications! Upward Bound
provides students with free college experiences, career guidance, online
tutoring services and much more! Turn in your applications to Mr. Zippay or Ms.
Stacey in the GO Center by Friday August 24th and receive a $25 gift
card!
