Seniors: Celebrate your success by
announcing your accomplishment in the Record Searchlight’s special Graduation
publication. The deadline is May 25th. Call Dawn Jordan at: 225-8298 for more
information.
Students: please
check the attendance challenge list to see if you are eligible to attend the
ceremony today. The ceremony will be held during 4th period in the PAC. If you
have any questions, please see Mr. Mason.
Prom: This
is the last days to buy your Prom tickets, they will be on sale until Friday at
Lunch only. No sales at the door. $50 for a couple and $30 for a single. Reminder please DO NOT allow students out of
class to purchase tickets, they can purchase them before school, during
nutrition break, at lunch, or after school until 3pm on Thursday.
Yearbook
Distribution: -Senior yearbook
distribution will be during lunch on Tuesday the 29th.
-All
underclassmen distribution will be during lunch on Wednesday the 30th.
-Books
can be ordered in the student store for $60.
ATTENTION
ALL INTERESTED GOLFERS: Are you wanting to learn a sport you
can play for life. Come talk to Mr. Longnecker in room 322 and learn
about the summer golf opportunities available. Sign-Ups for the girl's
fall season are now underway
Students: The Youth
Conservation Corps (YCC) Application are due TODAY Wednesday, May 23rd
by 11am. If you have any questions see Dani in the Go Center.

May is Global Youth Traffic Safety Month. There will be DUI Prevention
activities during lunchtime on Friday, May 25th
Attention
all Anderson High School Students: “Game on Together” will be
holding its first Super Smash Brothers tournament this Friday from 3-5pm in the
Cub Connection room with all the couches. The tournament is free to enter.
However, there will be a limited amount of entries. Get there right away and
sign up to play. After annihilating all other competitors, the winner will
receive two large pizzas and a 2-liter of soda from Round Table Pizza.
Upward
Bound Students: Attention All Upward Bound students please come to the GO Center
during lunch today and check in with your advisor! This is a very important
check. Come see Mr. Zippay and Ms. Sheila in the GO center during lunch!
