AP Testing:  If you signed up to take the AP English test, please report to the library tomorrow at 7:45 a.m. The test will begin immediately. Also, you need to have your balance paid before the test begins. If you have questions regarding payment, please see Marti in the student store.

Seniors: Sober Grad permission slips have been mailed home, if you haven’t received one there are extras available in the student store.  Deadline to turn them in is Tuesday, May 15th.  No late permission slips will be accepted.  Every Senior who plans to attend Sober Grad must have a permission slip turned in to attend.

Attention all Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors: Mr. Long needs you to help serve and support our student body at Anderson High School. If serving others needs and building positive relationships is something you enjoy, please put your application in for the leadership class next year.  Please see Mr. Long in room 321 for an application. The due date for completion of the application is May 11th.

JV Football:  Anyone interested in playing JV football next year there will be a meeting this Tomorrow, May 9th at 3 PM in room 328. This is an informative meeting so if you are still uncertain whether you will participate next year please attend and bring your questions.

Staff and Students: It’s Old West Dinner Show time!  A special price has been set aside for all AUHSD staff and students on Wed. May 9th.  The show is only $15 per student or staff member for the show and tri-tip dinner. You can get a payment form in the library and then give your payment and ticket form to Mrs. Hughes at the AUHS PAC or to Mrs. Hill.  Don’t miss out on this rip-roaring fun time and great food.  The show is at the Anderson Church of Christ.  Seating is at 5:30 p.m. and the show starts at 6 p.m.

Students:  the 2nd semester Attendance Challenge will be occurring at the end of May. If you have 3 absences or less this semester, you will be able to participate in the event. Last time the grand prize was a Kindle Fire along with many other prizes. The announcement for the new grand prize will be occurring in the next few weeks. Stay tuned and keep up the great attendance.

Prom:  Prom tickets will go on sale Wednesday, May 9th and run thru Friday, May 25th. Tickets may be purchased before school, during lunch or after school until 3pm in the student store, please do not asked to leave class to purchase tickets.  Also, if you or your guest has student fees you will be unable to purchase tickets until fees are paid.
