Sophomores:
You will be taking the SBAC Science test today. Your room assignments have been
posted next to the RTI lists. The test will be proctored during 2nd
and 3rd periods. If you have wired earbuds, you will be able to use
them as your listening device for the test. If you have additional questions,
please see your science teacher or Mr. Mason.

Seniors: it is not too late to
complete your FAFSA. If you need assistance please talk to your counselor
or your TRIO advisors. Those seniors planning on attending Shasta
College, you have to have a completed FAFSA on file to qualify for the First
Year Free Tuition (Shasta Promise).
Juniors: this is testing season! Now is the time
to register for the college entrance exams (SAT/ACT). You may qualify for
a fee waiver, see your counselors or TRIO advisors. There is also
a FREE test preparation workshop offered on May 1 here at AHS after school to
help you prepare for those entrance exams. Sign up in the GO Center to
reserve your spot.
Students: YCC 2019 summer
youth program is now accepting applications. Anyone between 15 - 18 years of age
may apply for a summer job. There will be 10 positions available. It is an
8-week program, beginning on June 10, 2019. Applications are due by May 10,
2019. For more information or an application see Dani in the Go Center.
Students: Reminder that yearbooks are still on sale for
only $60, you can purchase yours from Marti in the student store.
