Attention Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors: Today is really the Last Day to sign up for the ASVAB. Test date is Tuesday, December 3rd during 1st – 4th period, in the Library. Activity Release is required. For more information or to sign-up, see Dani Pavone in the Go Center.

Students:  Ever thought about being an exchange students?  ASSE International Student Exchange programs is proud to partner with the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) scholarship program for American high school students to live and study in Germany for one academic year.  The December 3rd application deadline is quickly approaching and we would like to share this opportunity with as many students as possible. Please note that prior knowledge of German is not necessary for a student to apply!  Students can begin their application by visiting: http://www.usagermanyscholarship.org/   If you have questions or need more information, contact us at cbyx@asse.com.  This information is also posted on our website under scholarship bulletin.

OLD WEST: The AUHS/WVHS performing arts department will present their annual Old West Dinner Theater auditions on Nov. 14th and 15th from 4-6 p.m. at the AUHS PAC.  All students are welcome to audition.  Please see Mrs. Romero, Mrs. Hill, or Mr. Costa for any questions you may have.

Students and Staff: The Anderson High School Music Department will be presenting Jazz Night on Wednesday, November 13th at 7 pm in the Performing Arts Center featuring the newly formed Anderson High Vocal Jazz Group and the Anderson High Jazz Band.

Soccer:  Last day of Try outs will be today from 3:30-5pm.  You MUST have your gold card to try out, see Marti in the Student store.

Seniors:  Ultimate Grad will be here tomorrow during lunch in the cafeteria for order pick-ups.

Seniors: if you are interested in learning about the McConnell Scholarship and how to apply, please sign up in the GO Center.  A presentation will take place in the library on November 14, during 6th period.  You will also need to have an Activity Release form signed to attend.  The McConnell Scholarship comes with a financial award of up to $30,000, personal mentoring, and an annual leadership conference. Thirty students from our region will receive this award in 2020.
