Students: Leadership will be
hosting our first-ever Turkey Shoot-Out TODAY, November 19, during lunch. We
are giving you the chance to prove you’re the best basketball shooter in the
school by seeing how many shots you can make in a minute. Or, you might just
prove that anybody can get lucky and sink all of their shots. The shooter that
racks up the most points will receive a $25 gift card to Safeway that they can
use to buy their family a turkey or anything else they desire. The contest will
be held in the quad, and all entries will be on a first-come, first-serve
basis. The winner will be announced at the end of lunch.

store to get some warm winter wear.
Seniors:
The McConnell Foundation Scholarship is currently accepting applications. Every year they award about 30
scholarships each year at $30,000 each. McConnell Foundation is looking for
students who have overcome difficult circumstances, who have a big heart for
others, are among the first in their family to attend college, and who, given a
chance, could really make a difference to their families, their communities,
and beyond. Attend in-person at the AHS library or virtually via Zoom on
Monday November 16th from 5:30pm-6:30pm! Pick up detailed
information in the counseling office or in the Go Center.

Country preseason conditioning starting Today 11/3. No
experience is necessary. We will be meeting at the track from 2:45 to 4
pm on Tuesday and Thursday each week. Remember you must have all your
athletic paperwork turned into Ms. Murphy in the student store and get your
gold card from her.
