CSF: Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors that are eligible and interested in the California Scholarship Federation (CSF), please check in at the Attendance Office for information and an application. CSF recognizes academic achievement for high school students and this is a great way to be recognized for your academic success and to be eligible for upcoming scholarship opportunities.  Applications are due Friday, February 12^th to the Attendance Office.

 

Girls golf  is going to start Feb 22^nd.  Please see Ms. Murphy in the Student Store for your Gold card.  You do not need to have equipment.  If you are planning to play golf please sign up for the Remind 81010, @auhsgolf or see Mrs. Romero.

 

Boys Golf: Any boys interested in playing Golf this season, practices will begin directly after February break. No experience is needed. Please see Mr. Jones for more information, and make sure to get your gold card from Ms. Murphy in the student store ASAP.

Attention all students: Mr. Long, powered by Cub Connection, is hosting a homework pod after school Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:45 to 4:15. If you find the chaotic after school environment too noisy and distracting to get your work done, come to the peaceful, quiet atmosphere of room 214.

Girls Tennis: Girls tennis will start Monday March 1^st. All girls interested please see Mrs. Lyford or Mrs. Lynn by this Friday and get your Gold card ASAP.

 

Seniors: The Academy of Art University of San Francisco will be providing an admissions presentation online via Zoom on Thursday February 25^th at 1:35pm. This university has a rolling admissions policy so you could still apply to enroll for the Fall 2021 semester. We are distance learning when this event happens so make sure you take advantage of this.

All Soccer Players: Do you want to play soccer in college? Sign up to meet and listen to Erly Cornejo the Head Men’s Soccer Coach from Simpson University. Simpson University is looking for talented soccer players, come to this talk on Friday February 12^th at 2pm during RTI and learn about the exciting world of collegiate soccer. This guest speaker event is open to both male and female soccer players. Stop by the Go Center and see Mr. Zippay to sign up.

Cub Connection:  Join us this Thursday for fun Valentines activities. We will be giving away prizes to the winner of the Wii bowling tournament, best Valentine’s day card making, best cookies, and a prize drawing for all participation. Join us in room 212 at 2:45 for all the festivities.

 

Cub Connection:   Wondering what to get your special someone or Teacher/Administrator for Valentine’s day? Cub Connections BOSS team will be selling Chocolate dipped Strawberries. See us in room 211 or 212 for pre-sale orders and prices. Pre orders must be in by this Thursday. All money goes to our Senior Scholarship fund.

If you do not make any corrections or changes, the name we have on file will go on your diploma.

ROP Preview Week is here! Today’s presentations in the Library will be – 1^st period – Careers with Children and Child Psychology.   2^nd period – Cosmetology. If you received an invite, you have already been excused and DO NOT need an Activity Release to attend.

 

Seniors: Ultimate Grad will be on campus today at lunch to collect orders, if you haven’t ordered your cap and gown yet don’t wait.

 

AUHS students:  Are you a Gamer?  Do you want to participate in an eSports League? Do you want to compete with other TRIO programs? This program is Free to Shasta College TRIO students.  Please see Mrs. Esparza in the GO Center to sign up.  If you are not a TRIO student and would like to participate in eSports you can by signing up for TRIO.  For more questions, please feel free to reach out to Mrs. Esparza.  Mrs. Esparza is on campus on Wednesdays.  Hurry and sign up space is limited!
