Attention Students! The Anderson High Jazz Band is still looking for saxophone players and a pianist for this year.
If you are interested please contact Mr. Costa in room 1000.

Students: The California Department of Fish and Wildlife will be offering a Hunters Ed. Class here at Anderson High School starting November 18th from 10 AM-2 PM.  Three additional classes will be offered Dec. 16th, Jan. 20th and Feb. 17th.  The class will be in room 311.  The cost is $15 at the door.  If you have any questions call Joe Hale at 530-744-8474.  Seating is limited to the first 25 students. To register for the classes go to www.wildlife.ca.gov

Gold Cards:  If you are finishing your Fall sport and want to try out for a winter sport, come see Ms. Murphy in the student store for a new gold card.  If you plan on trying out for a winter sport please come pick up an athletic packet so you can get your gold card.

Students: The AUHS/WVHS musical "Freaky Friday" will be held Nov. 7-10 at 7 p.m. and Nov. 10 at 2 p.m. student discount night is Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. for only $7.  Show your student ID at the box office and get your discount.  Any other night's seats can be purchased at SSCYA.org

Boys basketball:  Sign-ups for the upcoming season will be in the library this Wednesday, October 31st during lunch.

Students:  With Halloween approaching this is just a reminder about appropriate costumes at school.  Absolutely NO masks, face paint that would conceal your identity, or weapons.  Keep in mind school dress code and be appropriate.  It’s no fun to get dress coded out of your costume.

Attention all students: The boys’ basketball team is looking for students interested in filming our basketball games for the upcoming season. If you are interested in going to our basketball games, traveling with the team, and helping us win basketball games through filming, please come and see Mr. Long. All the equipment will be provided. We just need you.

Seniors: Study Smart Tutors will be offering a FREE SAT test prep workshop. Attend this workshop and increase your score on the SAT. The SAT Test Prep Workshop will take place on Saturday October 27th at 9am in the AHS Library. SAT fee waivers will also be given away. Sign up to attend this amazing workshop in the Go Center!

Boys Soccer: The Boys Varsity Soccer tryouts are November 13th, 14th and 15th, 3:30-5 pm at Anderson High School.  Make sure you have your gold card to turn in to your coach on that day.

Seniors:  Ultimate Grad Company will be here today, October 23rd during lunch to collect graduation and class ring orders.

Girls: There will be an informational meeting for all girls interested in playing basketball this season, including tryout information, today during lunch in the library.
