Students:  Pictures are in from round up and for those students who had ordered and were waiting for the late arrivals.

Students:  Are you ready to start dialing in your basketball shooting skills?  Starting today, September 3^rd and running every Tuesday and Thursday Cub Connection and Mr Jones will be holding an Open Gym basketball shooting POD from 3-4:30 in the small gym, if you have questions talk to Mr Jones.  

Attention Singers! Anderson High is starting up a Jazz Choir through Cub Connection.  The group will meet on Tuesday and Thursday from 3:15 to 4: 45 pm in the band room.  Hope to see you there!

Students: Do you want a say in your library? Want to volunteer? Join the Teen Advisory Board (TAB) at the Anderson Library!  TAB, or Teen Advisory Board, is a teenager-based group at the Shasta Public Libraries with meetings at the Redding Library and the Anderson Library. We help plan and set up events, make and donate things to benefit our community, as well as getting involved in projects at the branches to help make the Shasta Public Libraries great! Members in TAB have to be at least 12 years old or in 7th grade. In Anderson, TAB meets the first and third Wednesday of the month from 4:00-5:30 p.m, starting on September 18^th.  The September 18^th  meeting will be the Anderson TAB Kick-Off event. There will be prizes, food, and games!  For more information, please contact Sara Day, sarad@shastalibraries.org or 530-245-7261. 

Key Club: There is a Key Club meeting this Thursday September 5^th during lunch in room 326. If you were a member last year and want to be part of the club again, please don’t miss it. Anyone else interested in joining and finding out what Key Club is all about, please join us.

Attention Anderson High TRIO ETS students:  Mrs. Patricia Esparza will be on campus on Thursdays and Fridays. Please stop by and say hello and/or if you have any questions regarding the TRIO ETS program. 

Juniors and Seniors:  The Shasta College TRIO ETS pre-college program has some openings.  Stop by the GO Center and talk to Mrs. Esparza and get an application to join.  Fun college field trips and college success information is what you will get if you join NOW!  Hurry, before space fills up.

Students: Today is our Welcome Back Rally and first home football game against Red Bluff. The theme of the rally is "bring on your neon." On Friday, at school, wear your best neon and or white clothes. Then, at the game, Friday night, the blue crew theme is "Wipe out the Spartans."  Wear your best Hawaiian gear.

Robotics: Are you interested in Engineering, Science, the Medical Field or simply building cool Robots?  Consider Joining the Robotics Club….meetings are every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00pm – 4:30pm in room 125.  No prior knowledge or experience is required and ALL grades are welcome!  See Miss Jennifer in the Cub Connection room for more information.  Hope to see you there!

Cub Connection: Hey Cubs! Our first home football game is this week and we want to give away free admission! You can earn game admission by wearing extreme blue and gold, Gettin' your Neon On, or making posters at 3pm TODAY to support our team. Show your extreme-neon-poster self to Jen on Friday for your ticket.  Go Cubs!
