Students: The
California Department of Fish and Wildlife will be offering a Hunters Ed. Class
here at Anderson High School starting November 18th from 10 AM-2
PM. Three additional classes will be offered Dec. 16th, Jan.
20th and Feb. 17th. The class will be in room
311. The cost is $15 at the door. If you have any questions call
Joe Hale at 530-744-8474. Seating is limited to the first 25 students. To
register for the classes go to www.wildlife.ca.gov
Native
American students:
If you are interested in attending the American Indian College
Motivation Day at Humboldt State University on November 1st please
see Trina Wehunt in the Counseling office.
Attention
all girls’ soccer players:
you must have your gold card to
Mrs. Romero by Monday Oct 22nd. We are having official tryouts
that day, not just show up when you feel like it practice. Athletic packets and a gold cards may be
picked up in the Student Store with Ms. Murphy.
Juniors
and Seniors: The University of California Davis, office of admissions will be
giving a special presentation on UC admissions applications in the Library on
Thursday October 18th during lunch. Please stop by the library
during lunch on Thursday to learn about applying to a UC.
Upward
Bound Students: Come to the library before school on Thursday for a quick meeting
about the University of Nevada Reno field trip. The meeting will be very short
and will take place at 7:30am on Thursday morning in the library. If you are
planning on going to UNR this is a mandatory meeting.
