2018 Winter Homecoming week!!  

The Theme for the week is “There's just no place like homecoming” 

Today, January 11th is “Lions, Tigers, and Bears OH MY!” Show up to school as your favorite animal!
Friday, January 12th is “There's a storming coming” Show up to school in extreme BLUE AND GOLD and come to the homecoming game in the same attire! 

Saturday-Winter Semi-Formal at the Atrium from 8-11, tickets will be on sale all this week at lunch.

The library will be closed during lunch this week and next, due to students not obeying rules and leaving the library a mess.  Please remember that it is a privilege to be able to hang out in the library during lunch time.  There is no food allowed in the library.  Students need to pick up their trash, put games away and return the chairs to the tables.  Let’s respect the rules and keep the library open for lunchtime use.

Sober Grad:  There will be a Sober Grad meeting TONIGHT, January 11th in the library at 6pm. Seniors please attend and help us plan an awesome sober grad event.
Attention VEX ROBOTIC team members: There is a mandatory meeting this Friday after school. Make plans to attend the meeting.
SCIENCE BOWL :  Participants please turn in your paperwork by Tuesday Jan 16th or your will be removed from the team. Practice begins Tuesday after school in room 216.
Sophomores Freshman students:  If you would like to participate in the Shasta College TRIO Talent Search program please see Mrs. Esparza in the GO Center.  This program is designed to help you plan and prepare for college.  Applications are accepted year long and there is plenty of room for 9th and 10th graders.  Field trips to college campuses will be offered in the near future for you to participate in.  
Shasta College TRIO students:  A field trip opportunity is available for you.  We will be visiting Southern Oregon University in February.  If you are interested, please pick up a permission slip packet in the GO Center.  Space is limited!
There is NO RTI assigned this week so students need to remain in school until 2.33 pm each day. Today, students will go to their 2nd period class.  There is NO RTI on Friday Jan. 12th due to the Rally schedule.  If your 1st or 2nd period teacher is NOT on campus then please report to the Library.  The RTI assignments will be posted and will start on Monday, Jan. 15th
