Parking Permits: deadline to get your parking
permit is this Friday, August 26th, you will need to purchase your
ASB sticker and then get the appropriate paperwork for your permit from Mrs.
Ahern in the attendance office.
Girls Basketball: Open Gym will be every Monday
and Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. Starting Monday August 22nd. See Ms Maslin in the library if you have any
questions.
FFA-Anderson FFA is having their
“Welcome Back” social tomorrow, Tuesday, August 23rd in the AG shop
at 3pm. They are electing their new
secretary and picking this year’s theme.
All members attending will get a popsicle.
Performing Arts: Do you want information on how
to audition for the AUHS/WVHS musical, “Bye, Bye Birdie”? Come to the
musical audition workshop on Thursday, August 25 from 3:30-5 at the AUHS
PAC. We will review acting, singing, and dancing techniques needed to
audition. Contact your performing arts teachers for more information.
Attention Musicians! The Anderson High Jazz Band is
starting up this week. Rehearsals will take place Tuesday through Friday at
7:00am in Room 1000!
Swim Team: The swim team is still hoping to
see more new members join the team. IT’S NOT TOO LATE! See Mr.
Williams in room 219 during school to let him know you’re interested, or come
to the pool after school and see what it can be like to be a Cub swimmer.
You do not need to be a great swimmer to join the team; you will improve in
technique every day you are in the pool. Swimming is something you can
use your entire life, so come out for the team today.
