If you plan to play any of the upcoming sports, Softball, Baseball, Basketball, Track and Field please come get your Gold Card from Ms Murphy in the Student Store before you can practice.

 

Swim: Join the swim team and learn skills you can use the rest of your life.  Practices are each day, from 3:00-4:30, in our heated pool.  No experience necessary. Free team suit for everyone. See Coach Williams in room 219 or come to the pool after school. 

 

Boys Basketball: Boys Basketball tryouts will be in the big gym Monday, April 26th. Freshmen Tryouts start at 3:30 pm. JV Tryouts begin at 5 pm. Varsity Tryouts start at 7 pm. Gold Card is necessary to participate. Marti, in the student store, can help you with this process.

 

Track & Field:  The track team is seeking athletes of all abilities; if you want to join the team get your gold card from Ms. Murphy in the student store and bring it to practice.  We meet for practice each day @ 3PM in front of the visitors bleachers.  If you need more info talk to Mr. Orellana in room 124 or Mr. Osborn in room 127.

 

Congratulation to Carla Alvarez-Tryon, 11^th grade for receiving an award of Merit for her scratch art piece, “African Queens.”  At the Shasta County High School Juried Art Show.  Please go see this wonderful show, Downtown Redding, Old City Hall, 1313 Market Street. Open 4/23- 5/22. 12-4pm.
