Winter Homecoming is this week. This
years Winter Homecoming Spirit week’s theme is Road Trip Across America!

TODAY
we travel to Oregon! Embrace your true hippy and wear your tie-dye
shirts and corduroy pants!

Thursday:
will be Alaskan Thursday! It’s going to be chilly, so wear your big coats and
snow gear, so you’re prepared for the blizzard!

Friday:
will be Florida Friday! Wear your best beach attire as you long for a day of
fun in the sun.
Homecoming Semi Formal Dance: Save the Date! Saturday, February 8th from 8-11 PM,
Leadership is hosting the “Under the City Lights” Dance. Come join us and soak
in the New York atmosphere. Held at the Happy Valley Community Center, we
encourage you to wear semi-formal attire. There will be prizes, food, and photo
booth. Tickets on sale during lunch in
the student store for $5.00 pre-sale and $10.00 at the door. Tickets will be on sale this week until
Thursday.
Attention
Juniors: There is an information meeting for College Connection at 6:00
p.m. on February 5th in the library for any Juniors interested in
spending their Senior year at Shasta College earning both high school and
college credits. Interested juniors with a minimum 2.0 GPA are encouraged to
apply. An instructor from College Connection will be there to present
information on the program and to answer any questions from students and
Parents. See your counselor for more information, or click on the College
Connection link under Academics on the Shasta College website.
Cub Connection: Just a reminder,
Cubs, we're here for you. Cub Connection offers free math and science tutoring
with Mr. Wyrick each Monday from 2:40 to
3:40 so if you are experiencing a challenge in either of these subjects, we've
got just the help you need.
Track: Track
practice for all non-winter athletes starts next Monday, February 11. Boys and
girls in all grades are encouraged to join the track team. Get your gold
athletic clearance card from Ms. Murphy in the student store and be ready to
start training next week.
Attention
all students: if you signed up for a library card from the Shasta Public
Library then please come to the attendance office to pick it up.
Seniors: Ultimate Grad will be here at lunch tomorrow,
if you haven’t already turned in your cap and gown order please do it then.
Seniors: Reminder Yearbook
Ads for Grads a.k.a. baby pictures are due to Mr Rouse room 329 by Wednesday
February 12th.
