Bound Simpson Students: We have a free field trip coming
up on October 9th to Humboldt State University! Pick up a permission
slip packet from Zippay in the Go Center.
Seniors:
Final Senior Portrait make up days will be October 16th and 17th,
students will be photographed during their senior social science class.
Seniors:
Shasta College Preview Day is on October 11th. You can pick up a
permission slip packet from Zippay in the GO Center. Transportation and lunch
will be provided! Stop by the GO Center to sign up!
Students: Winter sports are just around the corner, if
you are going to be playing basketball, wrestling, or playing soccer do not
delay in getting your sports packets completed so you are ready for your Gold
Card once your season has started.
Cub Connection:
Got math problems? Cub Connection has the answer! We now offer math
tutoring Monday through Thursday with Mr. Osborn. This opportunity is open to
ALL Anderson High students, as little or as much as you need. Check in
with Jen or Val in the Cub Connection rooms about how to sign up.
Remember also, your participation earns you a Cub Activity Buck.
Soccer
Fundraiser: Boys soccer are pre-selling tamales as a fundraiser October 3rd
thru 10th for $20 a dozen . See Brian Melendez or Juan Estrada for
pre-sale order forms.
Students: This Saturday,
October 5, 2019 at 7 p.m. is the annual AUHS/WVHS choir Broadway night.
It will be held at the AUHS PAC. It will feature lots of music from past
musicals that AUHS/WVHS have performed. Also included will be some solos
by alumni. It's going to be a great show! You can see Mrs.
Hill for ticket information.
Seniors:
Volunteers needed for Sober Grad fundraiser.
Sunday, October 6th at 5:30 pm at the Anderson fairgrounds to
do clean up after the still water pow-wow, all volunteers will get extra prize
ticket the night of sober grad. Meet
Leni Baker at the fairground entrance at 5:15pm on Sunday.
