Attention
all Advanced Placement students: This is your last week. If you are interested in taking the AP English
Literature or Calculus exams, please pay your $15 deposit to Ms. Murphy in
student store. All deposits are due by March 26. The total cost of each exam is
$94. You can also inquire with Ms. Murphy to see if you are eligible for a fee
reduction. If you are eligible for the reduction, the total cost is reduced to
$15.
Juniors: There will be
an SAT/ACT test preparation workshop offered on March 24. Please sign up
with Mrs. Esparza if you are interested in participating in this FREE workshop
to help prepare you for the SAT /ACT. Space is limited
Juniors: you
will be taking the ELA SBAC exam today. Once first period is finished, please
report to your assigned testing location.
Students: Student bills were mailed out Friday, what
does this mean for you, well Prom is right around the corner and if you are a
Junior or a Senior with an outstanding bill you will NOT be able to purchase
Prom tickets until that is paid. Please
clear up any outstanding bill right away so it does not keep you from going to
Prom.
Seniors:
National Recognition Products Rep will be here tomorrow, Thursday, March 22nd
at lunch, don’t miss getting your graduation things ordered before it’s too
late.
Seniors: The Anderson Community Scholarship
Application is due this Friday. If you have a 2.5 GPA or higher, you should
apply. There are a lot of scholarships available. Applications can be picked up
in the counseling office and turned in to your counselor.
Seniors:
your senior contracts are due by Friday, March 23. Please turn these into the
attendance office as soon as possible.
Cheerleading: Cheer tryouts for 2018-2019 year will be
held Tues thru Thurs March 27th -29th from 4:30-6:30pm in
the High School cafeteria, you MUST have a gold card to try out.
