FROM THE DEN – DAILY BULLETIN

Attention Girls interested in playing basketball.  If you are not currently in a fall sport, come join us for Open Gym.  Every Monday and Wednesday night from 6-8 in the small gym.  You must have your Gold Card to participate.  Any Questions? See Ms. Maslin in the Library.

Attention All Working Students: All work permits that were issued last school year OR over the summer have expired! See Ms. Dani Pavone in the GO Center to renew your work permit.
Attention! All students, girls and boys.  Mr. Ortiz is starting a Triathlon Club after school.  If you like to swim, bike ride and run, see Mr. Ortiz for more information.  
 JV Football: Anyone still interested in being a member of the JV football team is still welcome to come out please contact Coach Gilbert or Coach Stout if you have any questions
Students:   RTI will not officially begin until Monday, August 28th, however you will still be required to stay for the RTI time in the following assigned periods until dismissal at 2:33 until RTI officially begins.

Students:  If you got your picture taken at Round up but didn’t pick up your student ID card, please see Ms. Murphy in the Student Store to pick it up.  Also, if you ordered pictures at Round Up they are available for pick up in the students store, before school, during lunch or after school until 3pm.

Seniors:  On Saturday October 21, we will take a van to CSU, Chico for their preview day. We will tour the campus/rec center/residence halls, participate in financial aid/scholarship/admissions workshops, and meet with student support staff.  There is no fee for students.  FREE lunch will be included.  There will be limited seats available.  Please contact Mr. Martin to sign up and obtain a permission slip.

Seniors:  Want to improve your SAT scores? On Saturday September 30, AUHS will host a FREE SAT test prep workshop in our library. You will receive a free workbook and practice test questions handout. Time 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.  FREE snacks and pizza will be provided. Please contact Mr. Martin in the counseling center to sign up.       

Seniors:  For those taking the SAT or ACT this fall, there are FREE fee waivers available. These tests should be taken by December so results can be sent to your university by January for review.  Please contact Mr. Martin for the fee waivers and schedule of test dates and locations.   

All students: On Thursday September 14, Simpson University will host College Quest, a college fair for all high school students.  There will be 40+ colleges and universities represented, career pathway information, military service information, and two financial aid workshops. This FREE event will run from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm.  Please contact Mr. Martin in the counseling center for more information.
