Juniors:  You will be taking the English SBAC exam today. The test will be proctored during 2nd and 3rd periods. Listening devices will be supplied during the test, however you can bring your own wired earbuds to use during the test. If you have specific questions regarding the test, talk to your English teacher or Mr. Mason. Good luck and remember the incentives for performing well. 

Key Club: If you are interested in donating blood, please sign up for the Blood Drive in room 326. Participants must be at least sixteen years of age and receive parental permission to donate. If you are eighteen, you do not need your parents' permission. Please turn in your permission slip and activity release to Mrs. Bradlyn by Wednesday, April 10th.

Students:  Looking for some fun summer time work, do you love baseball, well the perfect opportunity is here for you, a part-time position as a Food Services/Concessions worker is available during the Redding Colt 45s summer collegiate baseball season.  The 2019 Colt 45s season runs May 24th through August 3rd, with all games being played in the evening. You must be 16 yrs old and have a work permit along with reliable transportation.  Deadline is April 12th.  For more information please see Ms. Murphy in the student store. 

Students:  An internship with the Redding Colt 45s Summer Collegiate baseball program is a composite of various experiences, from food services, to game management, to fan-based entertainment.  Our 2019 season runs May 24th through August 3rd.  The schedule can be viewed on our website:  ReddingColt45s.com   Join us at Historic Tiger Field for a unique summer internship!  Deadline is April 12th. Please see Ms. Murphy in the student store for contact information.

The cost of each exam is $94 dollars, however, some students will be eligible for a fee reduction. The Calculus test will be proctored on Tuesday, May 14 and the English test on Wednesday, May 15. If you are interested in taking the exams, or have questions about fee reductions, please see Marti in the Student Store. The deadline to pay for the exams in March 22.

Juniors:  If you are thinking about applying to a 4 year university next year, now is the time to be thinking about the college entrance exams (SAT/ACT).  SAT exam will be offered at Anderson High School on June 1.  You may quality for a fee waiver, so go and talk to your counselor, TRIO ETS or UB advisor to get that fee waiver.  They can also help you with the registration.

Seniors:  Make sure you are checking out the scholarship bulletin on the website, there are many great opportunities awaiting you.

Students: YCC 2019 summer youth program is now accepting applications. Anyone between 15 - 18 years of age may apply for a summer job. There will be 10 positions available. It is an 8-week program, beginning on June 10, 2019. Applications are due by May 10, 2019. For more information or an application see Dani in the Go Center.

Students: BOSS team announces its first 'Dinner and Cosplay Movie Night' on Thursday, March 21st from 6-8 pm. In Room 212.  We'll have a spaghetti dinner while watching Avengers.  Tickets are $8 in advance, $10 at the door, available from Jen in Cub Connection.

Prom: There is a meeting Tuesday (today) during lunch in room 326. Please attend if you’d like to help plan the 2019 AUHS prom. We need your help to make it great.

Attention Students: Wes Camp volunteers needed! If you’re at least 16 years old and have a minimum of 2.0 GPA, please apply. It looks great on college and scholarship applications, and is a great opportunity to get some community service hours. Applications are available in the Go Center.
