Congratulations to Atina Diep and Josh Harper for being selected the April students of the month at AUHS!

Juniors: You will be taking the California English Language Arts test on Monday and Tuesday this week. Your room assignments are posted next to the RTI lists. The test will be conducted during 2nd and 3rd period each day. Please proceed to your assigned room after first period and remember your earbuds or headphones. If you have any questions, see your English teacher or Mr. Mason for clarification. Good luck and remember the incentives for performing well on the exam.

Prom: The Class of 2018 presents this year’s prom The Enchanted Forest on Saturday, May 20th at the Stirring.
Prom Tickets will go on Sale tomorrow and will be on sale through Friday, May 19th in the student store before school, at lunch, or after school until 3:00. Ticket prices are $30 single, $50 couple.

Juniors and Seniors: Student Bills are being mailed out.  You have to have all your fees paid before you are able to purchase your Prom tickets.  Prom is only a month away so don’t delay, get your fees paid.

Seniors: starting Wednesday, April 26th please see Ms. Teixeira in room 215 at lunch or during RTI to sign the back of the Senior T-Shirt. You will also be casting your vote for the FRONT of the shirt and order your shirt at the same time.  All signatures need to be complete before the end of the day, 2:33 PM on FRIDAY, April 28th.

Attention Seniors:  The sales person for National Recognition Products will be on our campus at lunch time in the Cafeteria on Wednesday, April 26th and he will be bringing some of the orders that have arrived such as announcements, sweatshirts, and caps/gowns so please stop by to see if your order has come in.  The orders that were placed early will be the ones that he will have to deliver.  He will also take late orders for graduation items such as caps/gowns and class rings.  Graduation is now only a month away so your order needs to be placed now.  If you have not yet ordered and need a catalog or information, please stop by and ask him any questions you might have before placing your order or use the opportunity to hand in your order to him.  Order forms are also available in the Counseling and Principal’s Offices so you can have your order filled out and ready for him on April 26th.

Cub Connection Students: Cub Connection invites you to its annual Red Carpet tri-tip dinner event on Thursday April 27, at 6pm.  Bring your family and give mom or dad the night off of cooking to enjoy fun, food, and recognition of our teachers and outstanding students.   RSVP in either of the Cub Connection room. See you there!

Juniors: All Juniors please to report to the PAC at 9:40 (beginning of third period) for a Junior class meeting.

If you are eighteen, you do not need permission, only an activity release. Remember to bring a photo ID with you on the day of the blood drive. Please turn all of your materials in to Mrs. Bradlyn before the day of the blood drive. Sign up in room 326 to participate.

Attention ALL Students: We have an excellent college scholarship opportunity open to all grade levels through Redding Rotary!! For more information, see Dani in the Go Center. Applications available in the Go Center and Counseling Office. Due Friday, April 21st.

Sober Grad: Sober Grad meeting tonight in the cafeteria at 6:30pm, please come help plan your night of fun.

Attention Students: We need WES Camp volunteers! If you’re at least 16 years old and have a 2.0 GPA, please apply. Applications are available in the Go Center.

Native American Students:  there will be an activity Thursday night with food in room 111 at 6PM

Cub Connection Students: Cub Connection invites you to its annual Red Carpet dinner event on Thursday April 27, at 6pm.  Bring your family and give mom or dad the night off of cooking to enjoy fun, food, and recognition of our teachers and outstanding students.   RSVP in either of the Cub Connection room. See you there!
