Girls: Girls Inc will be holding classes on Thursdays starting April 22^nd through May 26^th from 1:30-2:30, please sign up at girlsincnsv.org/programs, these classes will cover Stress Management, Nutrition and Exercise and Mental and Emotional Health.

 

Seniors: Ultimate Grad will be on campus on Friday, April 23^rd at lunch to pick up orders.

 

Girls Basketball: Girls Basketball tryouts for all freshman and sophomores will be Wednesday and Friday at 3pm. Be sure to have your sports paperwork turned in to Marti in the student store in order to get your Gold Card.

 

Swim: If you are considering trying a spring sport this last six weeks of school, think about coming out for the swim team.  As the weather heats up the swimming pool is a great place to be.  You don’t have to have experience to be a part of the team.  The swimming skills you’ll learn will benefit you for the rest of your life.   All boys and girls are encourage to join the swim team.  Practices are after school from 3:00-4:30.  If you are finishing another sport this week, you can start swimming next week.  See Coach Williams in room 219 and tell him you’re interested.

 

Boys Basketball: Boys Basketball tryouts will be in the big gym Monday, April 26th. Freshmen Tryouts start at 3:30 pm. JV Tryouts begin at 5 pm. Varsity Tryouts start at 7 pm. Gold Card is necessary to participate. Marti, in the student store, can help you with this process.

 

Track & Field:  The track team is seeking athletes of all abilities; if you want to join the team get your gold card from Ms. Murphy in the student store and bring it to practice.  We meet for practice each day @ 3PM in front of the visitors bleachers.  If you need more info talk to Mr. Orellana in room 124 or Mr. Osborn in room 127.

Juniors:  State testing season is here!  All Juniors please report to the PAC Wednesday April 21 at the beginning of 3^rd period to discuss testing procedures, testing schedules, and performance incentives. We will be giving out many performance based prizes and raffle items.

Attention Juniors:  If you are interested in applying for the ROP Cosmetology OR Barbering program through the Shasta School of Cosmetology, applications are now available online at www.ShastaSchoolofCosmetology.com or in the Go Center. Applications are due by Friday, April 30th. Submission instructions are listed in the application. If you have any questions please contact Dani Pavone at dpavone@auhsd.net.

Attention Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors: For those who took the ASVAB, the results are in! To receive your results, please attend the Interpretation Session in the Library on Friday, May 6^th during RTI. For questions see Dani Pavone in the Go Center.

 

Softball: Try outs will be at 3pm on Thursday, april 22 on the softball fields here on campus, get your gold card from Ms Murphy in the student store.
