Seniors: Shasta College Preview Day is on October 11^th. You can pick up a permission slip packet from Zippay in the GO Center. Transportation and lunch will be provided! Stop by the GO Center to sign up!

Soccer Fundraiser: Boys soccer are pre-selling tamales as a fundraiser October 3^rd thru 10^th for $20 a dozen .  See Brian Melendez or Juan Estrada for pre-sale order forms.

Students and Staff:  Ever thought about housing a Foreign Exchange Student?  Spring Foreign Exchange Students arrive in January and depart early June! One of the most important things in this life is making a difference through community service!  Council for Educational Travel USA, a nonprofit educational organization, is looking for families in your community to open up their heart and home to students from around the world. You can help make their dreams come true, and at the same time promote your knowledge of understanding another culture. Bring the world to your doorstep!  Please help make a difference in their lives and ask me about hosting a high school foreign exchange student for Spring Semester and Next Academic School Year.  If interested please contact Anna Hetu, Regional Director (530)561-0399.

Seniors: This Thursday October 10^th Ultimate Grad Products will be on campus during lunch to collect orders.

All Juniors:  On Friday, October 11^th you will go to the library for your math class, it doesn’t matter what math you are in, if you have math 1^st period you go to the library, if you have math 2^nd period you will go to the library and so on.  This is for Juniors only.  Mr. Osborn and Mr. Clawson will be in the library to conduct math classes there that day.

Rally: Friday we will be on a 4^th period rally schedule for the South County collision Rally, Football will be at West Valley on Friday for their homecoming, go out and support our Cubs.

Shasta College TRIO ETS students:  if you are interested in the CSU Cal Maritime field trip on Oct. 26, please get your permission slips turned in no later than Friday to Mrs. Esparza.

Students:  Winter sports are just around the corner, if you are going to be playing basketball, wrestling, or playing soccer do not delay in getting your sports packets completed so you are ready for your Gold Card once your season has started.

Students: This Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 7 p.m. is the annual AUHS/WVHS choir Broadway night.  It will be held at the AUHS PAC.  It will feature lots of music from past musicals that AUHS/WVHS have performed.  Also included will be some solos by alumni.  It's going to be a great show!  You can see Mrs. Hill for ticket information.

Seniors: Volunteers needed for Sober Grad fundraiser.  Sunday, October 6^th at 5:30 pm at the Anderson fairgrounds to do clean up after the still water pow-wow, all volunteers will get extra prize ticket the night of sober grad.  Meet Leni Baker at the fairground entrance at 5:15pm on Sunday.

Students: Mr. Jones’s extremely popular basketball shooting pod will be on Monday and Thursday next week, and not on Tuesday, see you all on Monday.

Cub Connection: Hey Cubs, free admission to tonight's game if you're wearing  extreme blue and gold to show your school spirit. Stop by Room 212, show off your spirit outfit and get your game admission ticket from Jen. Here's to a win over Gridley!
