Science Bowl:  if you are interested in doing Science Bowl this year, please come to the After School Pods on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons from 3-4.  If you would like to do Science Bowl, but are busy with after school activities or sports, please stop by and see Mrs. Lyford (room 216) or Mr. Wyrick (room 215).

Seniors: The McConnell Foundation Scholarship Program is seeking qualified students that bring about positive change in their communities. Students awarded this scholarship can receive up to $30,000. The McConnell Scholars Program will be providing a presentation on this amazing opportunity on Thursday, November 15th during 6th period in the AHS library. Sign up in the Go Center!

Juniors and Seniors: The Oregon Tech Hustlin Owls will be giving a college admissions presentation about enrollment and campus life during RTI in the library on Thursday, November 15th. You won’t want to miss this! Sign up in the Go Center!

Key Club: Round Table Pizza is hosting a donation night for the Key Club. Please stop by the Anderson Round Table Pizza Thursday, November 15th between 5-9 PM to support the club. Fifteen percent of your meal will be donated to help the club. Key Club members: Please turn in your club dues by Friday, November 16th. The cost is twelve dollars.

Attention Students: Wes Camp volunteers needed! If you’re at least 16 years old and have a minimum of 2.0 GPA, please apply. Applications are available in the Go Center.

Seniors:  Need help with your college application?  Please sign up in the GO Center.  The workshop will take place at AHS Library on November 8, 2018 during 6th Period.  Please get permission from your 6th period teacher by having them sign an Activity Release Form, (available in the GO Center).  
Key Club: Round Table Pizza is hosting a donation night for the Key Club. Please stop by the Anderson Round Table Pizza Thursday, November 15th between 5-9 PM to support the club. Gold Cards:  If you need a gold card, please come to the student store and see Ms. Murphy.  Gold cards requested in the morning may be picked up in the afternoon, you cannot request a gold card to pick up immediately. Please do not wait to attain your gold card.

Boys Soccer: The Boys Varsity Soccer tryouts are November 13th, 14th and 15th, 3:30-5 pm at Anderson High School.  Make sure you have your gold card to turn in to your coach on that day.

Attention Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors: The ASVAB is coming soon! The ASVAB is a FREE career aptitude test that measures your strengths in a variety of subjects to match you with career options. Test date is Tuesday, December 4th 1st – 3rd period. For more information or to sign-up, see Dani Pavone in the Go Center.

Attention students:  Students with a GPA of 3.0 or higher will be treated to attend the AHS High School Musical today 9:00 am. There are lists of names posted next to the RTI lists in the cafeteria and next to the Principal’s office. Please check the lists to see if you are eligible to go.

Students: The California Department of Fish and Wildlife will be offering a Hunters Ed. Class here at Anderson High School starting November 18th from 10 AM-2 PM.  Three additional classes will be offered Dec. 16th, Jan. 20th and Feb. 17th.  The class will be in room 311.  The cost is $15 at the door.  If you have any questions call Joe Hale at 530-744-8474.  Seating is limited to the first 25 students. Students: The AUHS/WVHS musical "Freaky Friday" will be held Nov. 7-10 at 7 p.m. and Nov. 10 at 2 p.m. student discount night is Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. for only $7.  Show your student ID at the box office and get your discount.  Any other night's seats can be purchased at SSCYA.org
