Key Club: If you are interested in donating blood, please sign up for the Blood Drive in room 326. Participants must be at least sixteen years of age and receive parental permission to donate. If you are eighteen, you do not need your parents' permission. Please turn in your permission slip and activity release to Mrs. Bradlyn by Today.

Attention all girls soccer players:  Practice with begin on Oct 22 at 3 p.m. for all those not in a fall sport. You have to have a gold card to practice.  There is a preseason workout and an information packet in the student store, room 316, or the girls’ locker room.  

Students: The California Department of Fish and Wildlife will be offering a Hunters Ed. Class here at Anderson High School starting November 18^th from 10 AM-2 PM.  Three additional classes will be offered Dec. 16^th, Jan. 20^th and Feb. 17^th.  The class will be in room 311.  The cost is $15 at the door.  If you have any questions call Joe Hale at 530-744-8474.  Seating is limited to the first 25 students. To register for the classes go to www.wildlife.ca.gov

Native American students:  If you are interested in attending the American Indian College Motivation Day at Humboldt State University on November 1^st please see Trina Wehunt in the Counseling office.

Seniors: There will be a Financial Aid Night Tonight at 6pm in the Library to help students and parents complete the FAFSA. Please have your FSA ID and your parents FSA ID completed ahead of time so you’re ready to complete the FAFSA

Juniors and Seniors: Do you plan on taking the ACT or SAT this fall? Study Smart Tutors will be offering two Test Prep workshops this fall for the SAT and ACT. The ACT Test Prep Workshop will take place at West Valley on October 20th and the SAT Test Prep Workshop will take place on October 27^th at Anderson High School. Sign up to attend in the Go Center.
