AP Testing:  the AP Literature test is coming Wednesday May 9th, if you still owe a balance for your AP test those fees need to be paid right away.

Seniors: Sober Grad permission slips have been mailed home, if you haven’t received one there are extras available in the student store.  Deadline to turn them in is Tuesday, May 15th.  No late permission slips will be accepted.  Every Senior who plans to attend Sober Grad must have a permission slip turned in to attend.

Attention all Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors: Mr. Long needs you to help serve and support our student body at Anderson High School. If serving others needs and building positive relationships is something you enjoy, please put your application in for the leadership class next year.  Please see Mr. Long in room 321 for an application. The due date for completion of the application is May 11th.

JV Football: Attention prospective football players we will be having a junior varsity football meeting this Wednesday the 9th at 3 PM in room 328. This is an informative meeting so if you are still uncertain whether you will participate next year please attend and bring your questions.

Staff and Students: It’s Old West Dinner Show time!  A special price has been set aside for all AUHSD staff and students on Wed. May 9th.  The show is only $15 per student or staff member for the show and tri-tip dinner. You can get a payment form in the library and then give your payment and ticket form to Mrs. Hughes at the AUHS PAC or to Mrs. Hill.  Don’t miss out on this rip-roaring fun time and great food.  The show is at the Anderson Church of Christ.  Seating is at 5:30 p.m. and the show starts at 6 p.m.

Attention Seniors: The due date to order your panoramic picture is TODAY, at noon, May 4th. Marti, in the student store, has the order forms to pick up. Pictures are $16.00.

Student council seats available include ASB President, ASB Vice-President, ASB Secretary, ASB Treasurer, and six student senate seats, two per class. Furthermore, there will be three site council seats available to run for. All of these positions would look great on any resume. Come and see Mr. Long, in room 321 for all questions and to pick up applications to run for office. The due date for completion of the application is May 11th.

Juniors: you will taking the Math SBAC exam today during 2nd and 3rd period. Your room assignments have been posted next to the RTI lists. If you don’t see your name on the list or have general questions, please see Mr. Mason in the attendance office. Remember the incentives for performing well and good luck!

Seniors: Shasta College Priority Registration starts today, May 2nd. The SC Admissions Office will be open until 7pm today and tomorrow only. GEAR UP will be offering help to any students that have priority registration in the library today from 2pm to 3pm. Don’t forget to bring your Ed plans!
