Homecoming Parade: Today, students will be dismissed to the parade directly from the Rally and will walk down Ferry Street towards New Tech to view the parade. If you take the bus, busses will board on Freeman Street directly after the parade, no busses will pick up at AUHS.

Auhs Hoco 2K17: Cubs Culture Week

· TODAY, S’port your Extreme Blue and Gold Day/Jock Day: Wear your favorite jersey that represents our school colors! If you don’t own a jersey, show up in some extreme blue and gold and S’port our Cubs.

Today at Lunch is your last opportunity to purchase your dance tickets at a discount rate, ticket prices increase to $10 at the door, don’t miss out on the first dance of the year, it won’t be the same without YOU~

Saturday, A Cliché Night at the Dance!!: Put your dancing shoes on and join us Saturday, October 7th from 8-11pm in the big gym! Dress casual and comfortable!! Tickets will be on sale during lunch until Friday October 6^th for $7 without an ASB, $5 with an ASB, and $10 at the door! (Please no heels)

Also Join our Selfie contest on Instagram and get a chance to win a Dutch bros gift card! Dutch Bros crew in Anderson will be dressed up for our Homecoming week, so go take Selfie’s with them.

Key Club: The blood drive is Tuesday, October 17^th. You will need a permission slip to donate blood if you are under eighteen. Please bring a photo ID with you when you donate. You must return your permission slip and activity release to Mrs. Bradlyn by Monday, October 16^th. If you would still like to sign up, please stop by room 326.

Students: Performing Arts t-shirts are now available in the student store for $15 each

Congratulations to our girls swim team who defeated Enterprise yesterday 104-88. Individual first place swims were awarded to Cheyenne Nadeau 200 free and 500 free. Marie Swain 50 Free, Justine Ventre 100 breaststroke. Come watch the final home swim meet next Wednesday at 3:30.

Seniors: Want to improve your ACT scores? On Saturday October 14 WVHS will host a FREE ACT test prep workshop in their library. AUHS seniors are invited. You will receive a free workbook and practice test questions handout. Time 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. FREE snacks and pizza will be provided. Please contact Mr. Martin to sign up

Powderpuff Game: Powderpuff is tonight Frosh vs Soph. starting at 6pm, then JR’s vs Seniors starting at 7pm.

JV/Varsity Football float: If you are interested in working on the JV or Varsity football float Friday, please pick up an Activity Release form from the Attendance office TODAY and return it to the Student Store by the end of the school day TODAY, limited to the first 10 students from each team.

Voting for Homecoming Royalty will be taking place in the social science (history) classes on Thursday. Freshman, Sophomore and Junior royalty will be announced during Friday’s Rally, along with the Homecoming King. The Queen will be announced during half-time of the varsity football game.

Juniors: Wednesday we will be having our 2nd junior float meeting during lunch in Mr. Stouts class room 116 located in freshman hall. If you are interested in participating in the float building process you are required to be there.

Seniors: If you are interested in a career in law enforcement, or would like to attend either Chico State or Butte Community College after graduation, please join us for the following campus visits. We will visit CSU, Chico for their preview day on Saturday October 21. At Chico, there will be tours, an information fair, scholarship and financial aid workshops, and opportunities to meet with department and student support representatives. Following Chico, we will head to Butte, where we will have either a general campus tour, or visit the law enforcement training center. At the center, students will be participating in the driving and firearms simulators, as well ride in a police vehicle on the skid pan. This trip is FREE, and lunch will be provided. Deadline to sign up is October 3. To sign up, please contact Mr. Martin in the counseling center.

Attention Students: Anyone interested in learning more about University of the Pacific, the admissions rep will be on campus Wednesday, October 4^th, 2017 during 2^nd period in the Library. You must have a signed activity release form to attend, DUE by TODAY, Oct 3^rd. If you have any questions or need an activity release form please stop by the Go Center.

ATTENTION FRESHMAN: There will be a float meeting TODAY in room 213 at lunch.

Attention Royalty Nominees: Today, during lunch, in the leadership room, there will be a mandatory meeting to review the plans for the rest of the week.
